Unlike the bright future of a technologically advanced life full of peace and prosperity that we have been hoping for, mankind stands on the edge of extinction, as its last act of madness has summoned the evil that is lurking for our souls and lives...
Ever since the beginning of time when mankind's societies started growing, the need for power and resources, the craving for influence and wealth, and the hunger for controlling and prosperity have all been growing within the race's individuals' deepest points of the heart and soul, darkening them to the point of stripping them of the one and only nature that distinguishes them from the rest...... Humanity.
People had a reputation for being incredibly foolish for an unknowable amount of time, which led to multiple catastrophic disasters that were on the verge of wiping them off the face of the world. Under the guise of justice and peace and the banner of humanity, they have sparked unending wars amongst one another in order to steal one other's wealth and territory, as well as enslaved the population of the defeated nation to labor and fulfill the winners' desires.
From the moment the first drop of human blood was shed until the present day, the well-known cycle of war and disasters remained the same......until the fateful day where fate has had enough... the day when mankind will finally pay for its own evil and greed...... it was the day of judgment.
Local battles between a few states have broken out all across the world in 2025 for a variety of causes. Yet, the severity of the battles had dreadfully increased to the point that everything had become a third world war.
Each nation, along with its true allies, desired to show its might in this brutal war by unleashing the fearsome fury of its arsenals. After a few mouths of battling, the decision that ruined everything for humans once knew was applied..... the use of the nuclear arsenal ☢.
In a moment of uncounterable wrath, 3 nuclear explosions have occurred in different spots in the world.
- One somewhere between both; the northern and southern America.
- A second one in the center of Asian and Europe.
- And a third one in the heart of Africa
After these three nuclear attacks, the end of the war has arrived..... and so has the world we once knew.
The survived nations have declared the end of the conflict, as well as the necessity of calming things down in order to avoid the danger of extinction..... yet this time, there were no luck for this.
Following a few months since the war has ended, humanity has discovered itself battling a whole new foe created by its own selfishness and depravity. A terrifying adversary unlike any other, seeks for the lives of those who're still walking upon earth's surface.
After a few months, a pandemic plague of some unknown sort began to spread among all the living all across the world, triggering nightmare mutations that transformed anything it got infected by it into a violent, flesh-hungry monster identical to those we used to see in horror films..... but real.
The origin of this nightmare is unknown, but there are several rumors that talk about it;
One of them says that it was a biological weapon that was unleashed during the war, most likely by a nation that has lost it.
Another claims that the nuclearly attacked areas included hidden bio-centers from which the plague originated after the explosions and began spreading locally before spreading further afield.
And a third contends that the radiation from nuclear explosions has given rise to some type of microscopic, insect, or green lifeform (virus, parasite, or any kind of pandemic plant), which has begun infecting other creatures.
There're many other rumors about it, but how this curse was made doesn't matter at all, as the real origin still a mystery until now, but what matters is that it couldn't been stopped.
The level of the global infection kept increasing in a terrifying rate ever since it was publicly discovered and within a single year.

Most of the world has been infected.
By the year 2030, this epidemic has afflicted the majority of the planet's population, including the animal and plant kingdoms, and over 80% of the planet's terrain has been turned into a gory wasteland where the infected beasts seek nourishment to sate their insatiable appetites for flesh and blood.
Groups of the few survivors who are still uninfected have been formed. Some of them are rather large, to the extent that they can be regarded as a faction that controls what is still in human control. These are small organizations that collaborate purely for underlying and individual goals. Others are big confederations of organizations. Regardless of size, they all have the same primary objective:...... to survive...... and they will stop at nothing to do this.
During this dark period, will mankind find its way to fix what it have done?.... or will it fall into the fangs of its own deeds..... only time will tell that.
