The next morning, the younger Birla's had finished having a late breakfast and were preparing to head off to the train station. Abhimanyu, Parth and Neil were helping load the luggage into the car whilst Parth and Neil were busy fretting over how much luggage the girls were carrying for a two day trip.
"Reem! Why do you need 2 suitcases and 1 carry on for a 2 day trip?!" Abhimanyu asked his sister, flabbergasted at the girls' packing abilities.
"And Nishtha! Why are you carrying 2 suitcases?!" Neil grumbled, picking up and stuffing her suitcase in the back of the car.
"And Shefali..." Parth was about to make a comment on his wife's packing skills only to realize it's better if he zips his tongue before Shefali zips it for him. Especially when she was glaring at him like an angry wolf on the hunt of her next prey.
"Bhai! For the pictures of course! Hill stations make for some of the best scenic shots!" Reem offered as a reply to Abhimanyu's question.
"Exactly Di!" Nishtha agreed.
"And for that you need two giant suitcases filled with what? Clothes?" Abhimanyu bit out, folding his arms against his chest. "And who is going to carry all of them? Not us. So I hope you have your muscles developed to do all the leg work."
Neil was proud of his elder brother supporting their cause because only Neil knew how they —Parth, Abhimanyu, him, Kairav and Vansh would be the ones responsible for carrying the suitcases.
Just then, Abhimanyu's eyes interlocked with a worried Akshara's who was dragging one large suitcase behind her and one tote bag hung on her shoulder which looked to be again, filled to the brim with clothes and accessories.
"But I'm sure whatever you guys have packed is important." Abhimanyu changed his tone, glancing at Akshars with a soft smile.
Neil watched Abhimanyu, appalled, as his brother changed colors like a chameleon.
Neil turned around and found Akshara stepping up to the group with her large suitcase, which suddenly made Abhimanyu's change in attitude make sense.
"Of course." Neil mumbled under his breath, disappointed by his whipped brother, earning a soft smack on the head which Abhimanyu conveniently changed to an over the shoulder hug as to not raise suspicion.
"Hi Akshara Bhabhi. Let me carry that for you." Neil exaggerated, without malice to Akshara but a definite middle finger to his brother.
"And there we have it. Neil's already volunteered to carry your suitcases for you. Don't forget to tip him ladies. He only accepts tips in lose change though." Abhimanyu joked, earning a low and unhappy growl from Neil.
"Umm...what happened? Exactly?" Akshara asked, confused about the layout of events which had just occurred.
"Nothing, Akshara. Neil is just being a little whiny baby." Parth explained, earning a frown from Neil.
"Come on, let's get going, shall we?" Abhimanyu asked, opening the rear door of the van and quickly settling in the very back because he knew the middle seat was going reserved for Shefali and the girls. The least he could do was have Akshara seated with him in the very back.
"Hey! Where do I sit?" Neil pouted.
"On the roof?" Abhimanyu offered sarcastically, wanting to push Neil aside so Akshara could step through.
"Why don't we have another car drop us off instead of being crammed in the same car?" Akshara offered.
Abhimanyu's jaw dropped to the ground whilst Neil's eyes lit up in a mischievous smile. "Bhabhi! Only you truly understand my plight! Let's go Bhabhi!"
