My Crazy Life - Diary of Kate Blight

Entry 1 - Introduction

Dear New Diary,

Finally, a place I can express the craziness that I go through in life. I've.. never really written in one of these before so.. let me start you off with some of the basic things of my life. I am a 14 year old who is living with her single aunt. I'm not sure why, but she has always seemed a bit.. off.. For the last 5 years, at least, our conversations have never seemed to last more than a few minutes.

I also have a brother who is currently 16, and he is ALWAYS, and I mean always on this weird website called Mood Booster. Apparently, it's a site where there are a bunch of funny videos and you can talk to people. I would go into more detail, but I'm getting off topic. He's a nice dude, but I've always wondered why he never wants to hang out with us. Every family outing, every time we go to a fun place, even sometimes when we go to a restaurant. He doesn't come. I've asked him why a few times, but he always has some lame excuse. He does like to play games with us in the house though, but even then is once or twice per week at best.

He does have a social life though, he has actually quite a few friends.. I'm even a bit jealous on how popular this dude actually is, being invited to parties every other week basically. However, I tend to spend most of my time either studying or watching stuff on TV or online.

My friend Ashley texted me today, asking me if I wanted to go with her to her other friend Jason's house. "Who is Jason?", I texted back. "Jason is a guy I met a few years ago at an amusement park, he's really fun and I feel all three of us should hang for the day.", she replied. "I'm down!", I replied, having nothing else to do that day. I got ready and decided to walk out.

Wow, this is already getting long, I oughtta skip to the important stuff. According to Ashley, Jason is a pretty big video game fan. He pulls up a party game on his game console and gives us controllers. We had a pretty good time, and unsurprisingly, he crushed us at the game with a score of 75000-1000-650, with me being the 1000. For lunch, we ordered nachos and he pulled out this hot sauce roulette game.

Apparently, we had to spin the wheel and put a hot sauce on our nachos, depending on what we spun. We all spun, put on the hot sauces, and burned our mouths. When it was close to night time, we decided to head back to our places cause it was getting late. Well, I have school tomorrow, so I have to get to bed now, so I will talk to you tomorrow, Diary.
