#7. Nothing

Black the color of the sea

Gray color of the sky

Brown the color of the grass

Everything seems quiet

No noise, just silence

I hear nothing, but sight is something else

People lying breathlessly on the darkened brown grass

Smoke coming from the gray sky

Dark liquid moving with the sea

Not a beautiful thing in sight

Just complete failure

Elders, parents, and children dead

Not a person in my sight moved

Just me walking on this blackened Earth

The Earth finally collapsed into complete darkness

I may be the soul survivor

Not a single song was sung

Not a single instrument rung

All silence, all black, and all gone

The people should've seen it coming

For their energy, slowly became darker each day

I still can't hear anything

But I know that everything is gone

Because I was the last human

To head towards the light

#8. Romeo and Juliet

Juliet was the fair maiden that Romeo loved

He loved her sweet voice

He heard it miles away

He traveled from afar

So he can meet the sweet maiden

One morning he rode all the way to her house

And climbed up the plants to her window

Where he yelled "My sweet song bird, sing for me"

Juliet heard his request

And sang the most pleasant song

Romeo's heart was filled with love

He wanted to marry the fair maiden

Romeo climbed into her room

Romeo's words filled with love and light

"Let's run away together, My song bird"

At last they escaped the house

They got on the horse, but then

Their parents came among them

They bickered and yelled

For each other's families and rivals

Romeo and Juliet wanted a happy ending

But will that come?

A shot was heard

The shot that came from Romeo's father

That shot hit Juliet

Romeo saw his father fled

Not taking responsibility for the murder

Romeo saw her dead body

With her pale skin and breathless lips

He couldn't take living without his love

He saw that his father left the gun

Left the gun with one bullet

Romeo picked up the gun

He lifted it to his head

And said, "There is not a day, I live without you Juliet"

He took a deep breath

Took another one

And then pulled the trigger

Both of their bodies next to each other

They couldn't be together in life

But maybe death

Where their souls intertwined

And that is the story
