Kippir stepped into the long, dim hallway, his footsteps echoing around him. He looked out one of the windows beside him, only seeing a pitch black void dotted with stars. It made him feel ill, his stress beginning to affect him as he began to realize how far he really was from home. He wasn't even sure where home was anymore. He looked away from the window, trying to calm himself as he began to walk forward. He immediately jumped when a part of the wall lit up, whirling around to face it. To his surprise, however, it was merely a piece of scripture on the wall. He walked over to it, curious as he began to read it. He noticed that the words were in another language, but they slowly shifted to a language Kippir understood better.

TRAVEL LOG: ENTRY ONE

DAY: 1
"I successfully managed to escape my home planet. I don't know where I'll be headed, but I'll be fine as long as I'm far away from there. I don't want to hurt anyone else with my magic."
"I'll probably keep my distance and see where momentum takes me, at least until I can actually control my magic."

END OF TRAVEL LOG: ENTRY ONE

Kippir raised a brow, confused. He sighed after a moment, taking a photo of the writing before moving on. Another section of the wall lit up as he neared it, causing him to pause before approaching it. It once again appeared to be a piece of scripture on the wall, seemingly having the same properties as the previous one.

TRAVEL LOG: ENTRY TWO

DAY: 8
"Still no luck so far. Ended up having to lock myself in a magic draining chamber for a moment to prevent an incoming rampage. It ended up nearly draining all of my magic and overloading (oops), but hey! At least I'll have a decent amount of power for a while!"
"Speaking of which, I've counted it to be around eight days since I left home. I've yet to encounter any systems, or stars for that matter, but the ship is programmed to auto-dock on any habitable planet. It may be nearly impossible, but it's worth a shot."

END OF TRAVEL LOG: ENTRY TWO

"... Interesting.." Kippir mumbled to himself, once again photographing it and resuming his walk down the hallway. Every so often, a section of the walls would light up, each containing a piece of scripture. Kippir continued his previous actions, reading the entries before taking a photo of them. If he ever managed to get home, these scriptures could provide evidence for other life forms in the universe. He stopped at a door at the end of the hallway, noticing it had an odd mechanism on it, and thus he assumed it was a lock. He looked around, not seeing any clues that could hint towards the door's password. He sighed, realizing he would probably have to consult the scriptures for the answers. He turned on his camera, cycling through to the third entry and beginning to reread from there.

TRAVEL LOG: ENTRY THREE

DAY: 1̶0̶ 14?
"Finally learnt how to create a controlled shot with my magic. It wasn't much, but it was still progress."
"I'm slowly starting to lose track of the days. Maybe I should have created a calendar with all the other clocks I have."

END OF TRAVEL LOG: ENTRY THREE

"Not that one.." he muttered, moving to the next one.

TRAVEL LOG: ENTRY FOUR.

DAY: ????
"Once again needed to lock myself into the magic drainer to prevent a rampage. I swear, my magic seems to be building up faster and faster by the.. day..? I can't even tell anymore, I'm losing sense of time."
"Food supply is running low. I really hope I can find a planet that comes with decently evolved life soon. Otherwise I'll have to tap into the station's ability to make nutrients from rocks, which is not very appetizing."
