Chapter V

The next day, travis was slowly walking to school, his father wasn't happy about the missed day of school and ended up giving him a lecture about how no matter what, school shouldn't be missed. After that travis had to clean the whole church so he was, without a doubt, exhausted; travis was also extremely nervous knowing that he'd probably see larry, he wasn't ready to talk but he knew it had to be discussed. When he got to school, he looked around to see if he could spot the tall boy within one of the groups of students, he did see larrys group but, sadly, no larry. Travis walked to the back of the school, hoping that maybe the brunette would be there, he was. He was sitting down against the wall smoking a joint, wow, shocker. Travis walked over to him and sat down.
"Hi Larry" he mumbled, fiddling with his small cross necklace.
"Shit travis- why didn't you show up yesterday? We need to talk. " larry was actually a little annoyed, he had thought of so many horrible things and was convinced travis didn't even really like him.
"I know, im sorry" travis could feel a knot in his stomach, he was so nervous
"I have questions"
"Okay, ask"
"Why did you just leave....? You kissed me and you left, what the fuck is up with that? " larry was honestly hurt, hurt that he just got up and left, he didnt want that kiss to end.
"Im so sorry, i got so scared. Kissing boys is wrong and i dont even know if you like me like that- im sorry, larry, i really am.. " travis teared up, hugging his knees
"Travis I do like you, ive been so scared, i thought you didn't like me, i thought that maybe you were just playing with my feelings or that i was just an experiment to you" larry looked at him, feeling a little relieved that they could both finally discuss this
"An experiment? God larry no- im so sorry i made you feel that way, I feel awful"
"Its okay, its fine- so uh, you do like me?"
Travis nodded, scooting a little closer to him, he reached for the boys hand, intertwining their fingers. Larry smiled,  absolutely mesmerized by the blonde. This time, larry leaned in, hoping this time travis wouldn't run off. The both of them closed their eyes as their lips connected, larry's arms slowly snaking around travis' waist; travis was bright red in the face, moving his hands to larrys face, just holding it. He felt free, and happy, he knew this is what he wanted and nothing could change that. Eventually, both of them pulled away, just staring at eachother. Travis rested his head on the taller boys shoulder, closing his eyes.

A little while after the two boys seperated to go do their own things, they decided to keep what was going on a secret because they didn't want their friends or family to find out, not yet atleast; it was too soon and travis still needed to figure out how to get out of his abusive home and away from his father permanently, he couldn't reveal anything until he knew that he was safe but he couldn't focus on that right now, he just needed to focus on graduating highschool first and then he could figure out what to do when he was legally allowed to leave.

Larry was just chilling with his friends, but he wasn't really all there, all he could think about was travis, hes all he wanted and it sucked that they had to keep this a secret but larry knew his friends would be pissed- well some of them would be, larry may have accidentally slipped up and told todd and neil, he couldn't help it and he knew they wouldn't be mad, okay well they were both a little mad but they were mostly happy for him, they werent the happiest about the fact that he was with travis but they were okay with not telling anyone, todd mostly spent time in the library so he wasnt always attacked by travis and well, neil isnt even in school anymore so it didnt really effect him but god if the others found out larry was fucking around with a boy who had bullied them for years, they would kill him.

Already starting on the next chapter, it will be based more around alrry and travis being together so you guys can have some cute little scenes bc i know yall want them, sorry its taken so long to get to this but its finally happening 🙏
