The unbreakable vow

Chapter 16

"There you are! You and Sebastian have been the talk of the morning!" Samantha yelled as Seraphina was tidying up her hair. She looked back at her in confusion.

"What do you mean?"

"Well I suppose there weren't another pair of a Ravenclaw and Slytherin snogging in the streets of Hogsmeade were there?" Samantha asked sarcastically.

Seraphina tried to contain her anger, as she wasn't aware that other people had watched them together. It was dark and only one person had seen them that night. "How does everyone know about that? only Lucius saw us."

"Hmm that's cute that you think it was only him, there were plenty of others that saw. Are you dating him?" Samantha asked excitedly as she sat down on Seraphinas bed. She couldn't answer the question, she really was not sure herself what would happen next. With the series events that had led up to this moment, it was only safe for Seraphina to ask if commencing a relationship now would be wise.

"I- I don't know." She stammered as she scrunched her face with uncertainty.

"Well, I do believe our conversation months ago I had previously said you would fall for him. So basically what I'm trying to say is, I told you so." Samantha grinned.

"Is that the hairstyle today you're going to see him in?" Samantha asked another question with a fearful look. Seraphina only stared at her with defeat and hurtfulness.

She answered her question as she continued to fiddle with her hair, "What? He likes my hair like this. How would you do it?"

Samantha sighed as she scooched over to sit behind Seraphina, Samantha whipped out her wand and started to style her long curly hair into a French braid. She even added tiny blue flowers, even gold accessories that weaved through her braid.
As Seraphina stood up, she looked in the mirror as her hair was graciously hanging down, never had she styled her hair like this before. Despite growing up in a predominantly female household, she never styled herself the way her family did. As they pride themselves with class and beauty, Seraphina was more comfortable with natural. But looking at herself in the mirror, she never realised how beyond she could go with her looks.

"Oh beautiful, Sallow is going to love it!" Samantha squealed, Seraphina chuckled as they linked their arms and walked to the great hall together. Seraphina felt it, she knew it was going to be a good day today. For the first time in years, she felt worthy and it felt dam good that someone else had made her feel like that.

"How many times are you going to spray yourself with my cologne?" Ominis asked irritated towards Sebastian, who continuously dabbed his skin.

"Until I actually smell good." Sebastian answered bluntly.

"Is this got to do with the kiss that you shared with miss Ravenclaw?" Ominis smirked, leaning up against the bedpost.

Sebastian was dumbfounded, "Merlin it has only been twelve hours and the gossip has started."

"Well of course, everyone wants to know what Hogwarts most desirable bachelor is up to these days. Even you Lucius seemed to be getting asked around a lot." Ominis informed to both of Sebastian and Lucius who was reading journal entries in his bed. Lucius looked up astonished, "Me?"

"Well of course you boys don't realise because you both have a knack of adventure everyday with your Ravenclaw friend."

Sebastian got up from his seat as he walked towards the exit dorm. "If it makes you feel any better, she is the one that heals us on our little escapades."

Ominis scoffed, "that makes me feel loads better, although she probably hasn't styled herself up like you have."
