We had been at Elliotts for a while but now, we were at some strip club. Luther was here apparently, Five was watching the woman on stage. Alot.
He had flirted with a woman who told him they didn't allow minors upon our arrival, I didn't like it one bit. Especially since i was his boyfriend and they were younger then us by a considerable amount. Mabye twenty - twenty five? Thirty was fine to me, after all we had been dating since I was thirty . Well I say it's fine, my boyfriend flirting with anyone but me wasnt fine, to me atleast.
" shes to young for you" a voice said from behind us, Luther's voice. He had only acknowledged five at that point in time "and arent you gay?"
" bisexual and its nice to see you too luther " five replied , well that gave me so much confidence
" hey luth" I said
" y/n" he smiled " what do you want five?"
" for you to stop hovering like an ambitious stripper and sit down with us" he replied
Luther pulled up a seat and sat down so I was jammed between him and five, who's shoulder was now acting as a pillow for my head.
" how long have you been here?" Asked five
" a year " luther replied sternly "thanks to you"
" I'm sorry luther I know that couldn't have been easy . " five said
" you had it easier than me. Twenty seven years "
" wow that's, awful. But I thought everyone was dead, I gotta go" he stood up
" luther, wait! " five demanded grabbing his arm " look I get it ok.i know what it's like to be stuck in time , thinking this is how you're gonna live out the rest of your life. On the run, not knowing if you're ever going to see the people you love again . To be in an unfamiliar world. Luther you're not alone. We have to find the others , cos the world ends again in ten days . I have no idea how to stop it . "
" I dont give a shit" said luther , I glared at him as he walked away
" well shit" I said slumping on my chair slightly
" cmon , we gotta go after him"
We both blinked over to the giant and five began talking to him again
" what the hell is wrong with you?" Five demanded " I just told you the world ends in ten days"
" yeah, but you're always saying that" luther snickered
" and so far I've been right!"
" look, you wanna save the world, knock yourself out. Alright. I already got a job"
" you work here?" I asked in astonishment
" yeah, well my boss owns the place." He paused " I'm his body man"
" what's that like a messuse or something? " five mocked
" look, you can make fun all you want. But I take good care, of mr.ruby"
" wait you're working for the guy that shot Oswald! The gangster jack ruby?" I replied in astonishment
" yeah" luther smirked " the one and only"
" well, it finnaly happened . That gorilla DNA has finnaly taken over your mind. "
" hey watch it, Jack's a good friend"
" and you're number one, numbero uno, remember? "
" there is no number one. Not anymore , not I'm 1963 . Look I've been stranded here alone for a year. What do you expect?"
" I get it. Alright, you watched pogo die , the world exploded. And I'm, and I morooned your big dumb ass in time. I'm sorry, ok, but I'm asking for your help luther. The umbrella academy needs yo-"
" it doesn't . Need me, it never did."
" luther. " a lady, the same one from earlier, came over " honey, Jack's about to loose it on some half wit, alittle help?"
" ah shit" the gorilla man began to walk away
" luther wait-"
The younger pointed an accusing finger in fives face and said " listen, you're the genius who said we should jump. Right? You're the one who got us stuck here. And you're the one who brought vanya, so if there is a doomsday coming shes probably the cause." He paused " if I was going to do something about it, its sure as hell is NOT going to be with you"
My fists clenched causing my fingernails to dig into the skin of my palms piercing the skin as they did so, I felt blood trickle down my hands. As luther walked away
" come on y/n. While we are here we better get a drink "
We walked up to the bar and before the man could stop us
" I heard a rumour you got him you're finest alcohol here free of charge" I smirked
" are you not gonna have any?" Asked five
" no, alchol is for parties and special occasions. I have a much better addiction " I pulled out a packet of regular cigarettes and lit em up beginning to smoke
" wow so good for your lungs." Five chuckled taking a sip of his drink
" wow so good for your heart " I mimicked in a high pitched voice
" I do not sound like that."
" you do"
We both sat down in silence for a while
" dad should have left him on the moon" five said about five minutes later having finnished his drink
" I agree" I sighed
He got up and looked at somthing in his pocket, I didn't question it.
We excited the club and began our walk home.
I intertwined our fingers together as we walked. It was nice to be back with him.
Even if the apocalypse pt.2 was just ten days away..
