"Hey," (Y/n) whispered, smoothly sliding besides the walking group of Slytherins. A couple of them jumped in surprise."Jeez, (Y/n)," Theodore Nott huffed.
"What's up?" Mattheo Riddle asked. (Y/n) glanced casually around before silently entering an empty room that (Y/n) thought could be used for a classroom. They stared at her from the doorway before getting the hint and entering behind her. (Y/n) flicked her wand so that the door closed partially.
"I want you to be completely honest with me," (Y/n) said, turning to face the Slytherins again. "Did Draco Malfoy have anything to do with the curse Katie Bell is under?" There was a long moment of silence.
"Yeah," Blaise finally confirmed.
"Damn, even with a memory loss, she's still going around being Nancy Drew," Lorenzo Berkshire mused. The others eyed him oddly.
"Who?"
"Nevermind..." Lorenzo murmured.
"I did not go Nancy Drew on you all," (Y/n) denied, leaning against one of the desks in there and picking at the dirt under her long nails. She would have to file them later. "His mother recruited me over the summer," she explained, pulling out a compact mirror from her bag. "Do not tell him, though. I cannot imagine he would be thrilled at all that his mother asked a filthy little Mudblood to make sure he does not get himself caught too early..."
"Don't call yourself that," Blaise said, closing his eyes in dismay.
"Sure," (Y/n) shrugged.
"You gonna tell your Order friends?" Pansy questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"No," (Y/n) answered. "Telling them would be telling Dumbledore and, while I can admit he has better plans for the Wizarding community as a whole, I do not appreciate people who view others as nothing but pawns."
"Well, that hasn't changed," Mattheo smirked, also leaning against a desk. "Good to know your dislike of Dumbledore carried on." (Y/n) glanced up from her nails and sent him a smile.
"Is that all you wished to know?" Daphne asked.
"No," (Y/n) said, shaking her arm to raise her sleeve. She looked down at the digital watch she herself made and tapped on it for a moment. "They are almost here..."
"Who?" Lorenzo's question was answered by someone lightly pushing on the door and poking their head in. (Y/n) smiled, waving her fingers as a few members of Dumbledore's Army entered, sending rather dismayed looks to the Slytherins. While everyone glared at one another, (Y/n) approached a corner of the room, muttered a password, and watched a spiral staircase appear in the ground.
"What's this about, (Y/n)?" Hermione demanded.
"You'll see," (Y/n) said, lighting up her wand, shifting her schoolbag up her shoulder, and then skipping down the spiral staircase. The others watched her go uncertainly. "Come on! Are you not curious to learn why I gathered you?"
"Whatever..." Dean muttered, taking the lead in following (Y/n). At the end of the staircase was a tunnel that slowly ascended upwards.
"(Y/n), what's this about?" Cho whispered as she caught up to (Y/n).
"You will see, I promise. I just do not want to repeat myself too many times," (Y/n) said. Upon reaching the end of the tunnel, she rose a trap door and carefully looked around before climbing out. "Come on. Up we go." She backed away as the others reluctantly came up. She then started leading the way to the Shrieking Shack.
"You know we could have used the Whomping Willow..." Hermione grumbled.
"That would take us into the house, if I guessed correctly," (Y/n) said. "We are meeting outside of the Shack." The closer they got to the Shack, they grew aware that there were people there too.
