"Ay mi amor cmon you gotta atleast try" I tell my girlfriend as I give her my skateboard
"I'll hold your hand so you don't fall okay?" I continue
"O-okay..." She says getting on the board
"What now?" She asks as she looks at me
"I'll just run around holding your hand" I answer
She nods and I start to run around
Really quickly
"Mateo stop please!" Y/n cries
I stop and notice a few tears streaming down y/n cheek
Y/n had an accident on a skateboard a few months ago and hasnt touched hers or my board since until now
Y/n gets off my board and sits on the nearby bench
"Oh I'm sorry babe, was I going too fast?" I sit beside her and comfort her and kiss her cheek and all my pets pop out to hug her
"I-it's okay" she sniffles and hug me back and my pets
"Why don't we get some boba as a way for me to apologize" I tell her as all my pets go back info my backpack (idk what it's called)
"Of course" she smiles and we get up and walk to the nearby boba shop
"Okay you want the usual?" I ask
"Mhm" y/n nods
"Hola! Can I get the *ur fav boba drink or wtv* and my usual" I tell the barista
"Okay! That'll be $19" says the barista
I pay and I wait for my order
I stay with y/n while waiting
"Hey so y'know the alleyway we played in when we were kids?" I turn to face y/n
"Yeah... why are you asking?" She asks
"I wanna take you too it, that good?" I ask
"Of course!"
"Order for Mateo!" I let wingman go and get our drinks
"Thanks amigo" he hands us our drinks
"Cmon mi amor" I grab y/n's wrist and run out of the shop
-y/n POV-
When we got near the alley, Mateo told me to close my eyes which was unnecessary because he covered my eyes anyway
"Almost there, watch your step" We continue walking to the alley
"We are here!" He takes his hands off my eyes and I see a beautiful mural with our initials on it and a heart around it like the tree carving you see on movies or shows

When I pull away from the kiss I see the widest smile on his face
"Y/n... I want to promise you something..." he says in the most genuine tone, while looking at me with the same smile he gave me when he told me he loved me, he was also taking something out of this pocket
"I promise... I will. Never. EVER. Hurt you and your feelings ever, and I promise that we'll stay together till the day we die" He says as he takes out a a beautiful necklace with my birthstone
