Chapter 4.

I helped Bianca get downstairs and through the crowd. Bianca got out safely. Just as i was about to step out, a hand grabbed me and pulled back in.
      I struggled to breathe as a handkerchief was put over my nose and i passed out...
              I woke up feeling dizzy. I was struggling to breathe. An oxygen mask was put over my nose, and i blacked out again.
     I woke up to meet a figure sitting beside me, i couldn't see properly, but i could guess, that it wasn't my mom, infact it wasn't even a female.
     I-It was Nick. Oh!you're awake,how are you feeling?Why are you here. Where's my mum. Your mum is at the police station, Mason got arrested. She asked me to stay here with you.
       Okay, how about Bianca? Her mum came to pick her up earlier after being treated, she's in a state of shock. Traumatised to be precise, she's not gonna be in school for a few weeks, she's gonna be going for therapy.
        Ok, tears rolled down my cheeks as i thought about what Bianca must have gone through. I know  i never care but i couldn't just ignore this, and it's all my fault.
      Nicks hand appeared in my face with a tissue. What!!! did he think i was some sympathy case, from a korean movie, where the hero hands the heroine a tissue and they get all cozy.
       That was enough to make me stop crying, because now all i felt was rage, i calmed down. And looked him in the eye with a death look,and smacked his hand away.
       I turned to the other side of the bed and closed my eyes.  GET OUT!!! I said full of rage.
        I just wanted you to wipe your tears, Did i tell you i needed your help wiping them. I'm not some sympathy case okay!GET LOST!!!
      Okay, I'm sorry, I'll leave. I was  struggling to breathe as angry tears rolled down my cheek.
     I can't believe this was happening again. I was having a panic attack, i hadn't had one since my mom and dad got divorced.
      Uhu-uhu-uhu i gasped for life. Nick ran back from the door as soon as he heard me struggling to breathe. DOCTOR!DOCTOR! She can't  breathe help. The doctor and  nurses rushed in to see what was wrong.
   After 30 minutes, i was asleep in my ward. I woke up again to see my mom next to me. Mom, You're  awake sweetheart 💕 how are you, I'm so sorry that i wasn't here.
     Don't worry I'll make sure that boy and Ria are punished,they'll be punished, mom said crying profusely.
     I'm  okay now mom i said trying to comfort her while wiping her tears.
       There was a knock on  the door to my ward, Come in. Hello Ms Yusuf, the doctor said he would like to see you.
      Of course I'll go meet him right away. Mom left to go and see the doctor.
  Um can i come in? Sure. Nick took a seat next to me. Look I'm really sorry for how i spoke to you earlier.  I was just overwhelmed .It's fine , um wanna  talk about it?
          I'd rather not talk about it. Ok, so you're the girl who was being chased by  tthe schools jock the other day.
     Yeah but how do you know that ? I'm the guy you dumped a bag of flour on.

Mom and the doctor spoke to one another. Ms Aliyah, your daughter's condition is very critical,  it seems to be that the kids who kidnapped her were inexperienced. Instead of sedating her with sedatives, she wasvsedated with a poisonous gas, which has affected her lungs, the gas is still in her body, slowly killing her.
     What!!! What's gonna happen to my daughter, tell me doctor! Calm down ma'am. There are two options, she either needs a lung transplant, or she'll have to live with an oxygen gas all her life which might not sustain her.
      The best option is for you to get her a lung transplant, within today and tomorrow,  if you want her to live.
           Then get it done! Also she had a panic attack,  she may not show it but she's sad and worried her BP is quite high for a 14 year old this also affected her lungs and worsened matters.
        Please make sure she's fine doctor, No problem, we just need you to sign the go ahead before we operate on her.
       We'll keep her under observation for a few days after the operation. Soe she'll be here till next week at least.
   Thank you doctor do your best please, save my daughters life.
    Everything's gonna  be alright ma'am don't cry she'll be fine.

    My operation was fixed for this morning. I was terrified and scared, i was feeling really anxious,  my anxiety almost got the better of me. An oxygen mask was placed on my nose to help me breathe properly.
    I could see that mom was was more tensed than I was, she had to take care of my little  sister and my little bro and my elder brother was away at college,  although  he was on his way but he wouldn't reach here till 10pm and it was just 7am.
   The operation started on a  good  note until i heard one of the doctors.  Oh No something's wrong , we're gonna lose  her.
