"Well...what do you wanna do now?" I ask Hyunjin. He shrugs and walks off with his hands in his pockets. I catch up to him and walk alongside him. He stops. "Why are you following me?" He asks while turning to face me. "Well what else am I supposed to do?" I ask him as if it's the most obvious thing in the world. He steps closer to me and leans down once again, "oh right! What did you call me earlier?" He asks me smirking. "N-nothing." I stutter. Fuck! Jiheon, get a grip! I mentally slap myself. "You know Miss Lee. You are one interesting girl. I honestly wasn't really into getting married, and shit I still am not. But you're intriguing me, why? Well no one has ever dared to call me a pervert and I get stares wherever I go however when I return the stare they almost immediately break eye contact and you do quite the opposite, I like woman like you and I'm looking forward to marrying you." With that he starts to leave but I click my fingers twice and he halts midway and looks back at me. "Hey mister. You might be interested in me, I mean who isn't? But honestly I don't feel attracted to you whatsoever, we get married and almost immediately we divorce. You go it?" I say before turning on my heels and fleeing the scene. My body was repulsive and I can't believe I just said that to a mafia boss. What the actual fuck is wrong with me?
1 week later at the Engagement~
I walk out of the car and almost immediately all eyes were on me. Hyunjin arrived before me and now I'm walking out of my car and on the red carpet. Literally everybody here has a strong aura, it's kind of scary, to be honest. Everybody had wine glasses in their hands and were talking amongst each other. The hall is very large and fancy it has white walls and heavy decorations everywhere. If I sold everything in this room I could probably be a freaking millionaire by now. My thoughts were cut off when I bump into a firm chest. I look down "Oh my God! I'm so sorry!" I say trying not to make eye contact. "Oh Jiheon what brings you here?" Says the familiar voice. I look up to see Leeknow.

Yup, that's the guy I said I like, the hot senior is him. Leeknow. "Oh. This is my engagement party. I'm getting married to Hyunjin in 6 months." I tell him, a blush creeping up my cheek. WHY THE FUCK AM I BLUSHING, IM GETTING ENGAGED IN A FEW MINITES?! I said it myself this is my engagement party I can't just go around blushing when my crush appears out of nowhere and starts talking to me. "Oh." Is all he could make out, he sounded a bit sad. Or am I just hearing things now? "So you come to a party without even seeing who invited you? Are you being for real right now?" I tell him laughing, earning a chuckle from him too. "Well if it's anything to do with free food, I'm game. Just tell me when? Where? What?" He says chuckling harder at his own remark. We both laugh and talk for what feels like forever. I haven't laughed like this for a very long time. Thank you Leeknow.
A few moments pass and I could feel someone's piercing gaze on me. I dismiss it and continue to talk to Leeknow but the gaze makes me shift awkwardly, it almost feels uncomfortable. I look around the room to see Hyunjin staring at me like a predator staring down it's prey. I hold eye contact with him for awhile but his gaze is just unsettling. Is he jealous? No he can't be. He clearly said he didn't like me, plus he could fuck any girl. We've only known each other for a week, I'm reading in too deep. "Yes, and then Changbin said- He said he was tall!" Me and Leeknow burst out laughing and he wipes off an imaginary tear. " Hah so funny!" I say but was immediately cut off when all of a sudden, somebody says "Ahh Leeknowshi looks like you have met my future daughter-in-law." I look back and see Mrs Hwang. He grins "yeah I'm her senior in school so we go way back" He says patting my shoulder. "How can I help you Mrs Hwang? " I ask her smiling. "Oh please. Call me mum, dear! You're going to get engaged to my son in a few mins." She says with a wide smile. "Oh yes. I forgot why I came here in the first place. Please wait outside with hyunjin and when the MC calls for you 2 walk on the red carpet hand in hand. Okay?" And with that she was off without letting me have a chance to rely. Leeknow gives me a reassuring smile before looking for other people in the crowd.
I walk out of the hall and find Hyunjin waiting for me, with his elbow out indicating for me to wrap my arm around his elbow.(yk what I mean? If yk, yk. If not then just imagine holding hands) he doesn't even look at me, it's as if he's being forced to do this whole thing. We both start walking and LL eyes are on us, the MC calls us and our families on stage, Mr Hwang receives the mic and says "Hello everybody! As you know my beloved and only son is getting engaged today to a beautiful young lady called Lee Jiheon, who we hope is going to become Hwang Jiheon, in 6 months time. Everybody here is invited to the official wedding as well. Thanks for taking your time and visiting us this afternoon. I also want to take this opportunity to tell you all that I'm going to be retiring and I will pass on my mafia position AND Hwang enterprises to Hyunjin so now all my shares are officially his. Congrats Hyunjin and Jiheon." He smiles before passing the mic to my step mother. "Hello everybody, we are grateful that the hwang family graciously let us join their family without discriminating our financial state, Jiheon is one lucky girl to be getting engaged to Hyunjin." Everybody says their speech and the night goes on really quickly. A few hours later when the cleaners were packing away Mrs Hwang came up to me, "Ah, Jiheon. I know this is short notice but you will be moving in with Hyunjin starting today." "I'm sorry WHAT?"
