Han River

You were walking down the streets of Seoul, enjoying the cool winter breeze.

Or that's what you looked like from the outside.

You were tearing apart on the inside.

You wanted to kill yourself. Your hatred towards your self was growing bigger everyday.

You wanted to escape this shitty world.

So you walked and walked until you reached Seoul's most famous places.

The Han River.

This place is supposed to be a place where all the couples hang out and be all lovey-dovey.

But to your luck no one was there.

I mean, who would be there at 4:00 am midnight?

You found yourself leaning against the rail, watching the water flow by and be reflected by the full moon in the sky.

The scenery was beautiful. It was something to stare at.

But all you could think about was jumping in it.

And let the water carry you around, and later drown you.

That was all your mind was thinking about.

And you hated that.

The fact that you couldn't appreciate something so beautiful because of what's happening in your life made you feel helpless.

You kept staring at the water but looked away as soon as you heard a shuffle behind you.

You looked behind you to see a brunette haired boy sitting down on one of the benches.

You quickly wiped a tear that you didn't know fell down.

You turned you head back to the water.

Suddenly the brunette boy was standing beside you.

You didn't wanna look like you noticed but it was hard when he was standing tall and handsome beside you.

"Hey," the boy said looking down at the water.

"Hi," You mumbled.

"What are you doing here at this hour?" He asked with a soft voice.

"Um, I couldn't sleep, so I thought I could get some fresh air" You replied in a barely audibul voice.

The boy hummed as he inhaled loudly.

"What are you doing here at this hour?" You asked still not facing him.

"Same reason" He replied gently.

You nodded as you stared at the water silently.

Soon you were both staring at the water silently in a comforting silence.

"You look sad" The boy said after a long while of silence.

Instead of answering, you nodded your head.

For the first time in the night, he looked at you.

You looked back at him, mesmerised.

The moon was shining on his skin perfectly, making him look like an angel sent from God.

"Why?" He asked still looking at you.

"Huh?" You asked feeling clueless.

"Why are you sad?" He asked again.

"I'm not sad, I'm just tired" You said looking back at the water.

"Then why don't you go sleep? Are you an insomic?" He asked still facing you.

"No, not that kind of tired. I'm tired of pretending. Pretending like I'm happy, that nothing is wrong, like my life is perfect" You said surprised by how you just exposed yourself to a stranger.

"I never got your name" He said stepping a tad bit closer to you.

"Y/n. You?" You asked.

"Beomgyu" He replied simply.

"It's okay to feel that way, Y/n. I was there before. But you know, by time everything will get better, I promise. Just don't pretend and start actually expressing your feelings. It will take a load off your shoulders, trust me" He said turning his head back to the water.

"Thank you" You said.

"Your welcome" He said smiling at you.

You chuckled as you started to feel at ease.

"Wanna walk?" He asked nudging his head to the rest of the side walk.

You nodded as you started walking side by side.

And that was a start of a beautiful friendship, that later turned into a relationship.

GUYS! I'm would like to apologise for not posting for almost a month now.

This is a very rushed story cause I wanted to update as soon as possible.

I've been having having absolutely no motivation to write or to even think of a story, but don't worry I'll try.

Also I need some ideas, so it would be great if you guys request something (yall have the best ideas)
