Sorry it's not super long, and I haven't updated in a while.. I've been trying to finish this book but frankly, I've hit a brick wall when it comes to writing it and I don't want to rush the next chapters just to get to the end games :/ Please bear with me a little longer! <3

(btw if you like Trigun I made an x reader that's posted on my quotev and ao3, which I'm also writing a sequel for! The brainrot is real)

Key: (Y/n) - your name

For the past week, everything has been pretty boring. But, the good news is that you have a better grasp on your out-of-control powers. Somewhat. Thanks to Cartman dropping very blatant and obvious hints, you picked up on the little 'game' that some of your friends were playing.

At first, you were very pissed off. It felt like you were just a toy for them to fuck around with until they got bored; but at the same time, you shared meaningful, intimate moments with Kenny and Clyde that you had thoroughly enjoyed already. That being said, there were two main things stuck in your head about the situation: on one hand, you didn't want to be treated like a piece of meat being passed around between the friends that were in love with you (not that you would ever admit to Henrietta that she was right and you were just clueless). But on the other hand, you also didn't want to mess up your friendships with any of them by choosing one of them.

It was an impossible feeling. The two thoughts tumbled around your head even after you made it to the bus stop after school, leaving you unaware that the boys were trying to get your attention.

"Ow! What the fuck," you exclaimed. Cartman whacked you upside your head pretty hard (probably payback for the monopoly money you've been tricking him with as of late).

"You must be brain-dead if it takes that much effort to get you to come back to reality, dumb bitch," he replied.

You scowled, "Just like, a tap on the shoulder would've been good."

Cartman was busy being yelled at by Kyle, while Stan and Kenny took to asking you questions.

"Don't worry about it," you tried to quell them. "There's just a lot on my mind."

Kenny rose an eyebrow, clearly not fully believing you. You rolled your eyes at the sight of his expression.

"I promise, I'm fine. Really."

Kenny sighed, while Stan gave you a deadpan look that said they both didn't believe you for a second.

"Are you going to patrol tonight?"

You thought about it for a moment, unsure if you really should with how bad your powers had been acting. Even if you had managed to get a better grasp on them, there was no telling if they would flare out of control again.

"Maybe," you finally replied.

Kenny needed to go take Karen to some after school function since his older brother or parents obviously weren't going to, and he didn't want her to go by herself; he gave you all a brisk goodbye as soon as you all arrived at your stop. Cartman and Kyle went their separate ways to their own houses, too, as your group got closer to the neighborhood. Now it was just you and Stan.

The silence that ensued was... uncomfortable. It felt like now that it was just the two of you, he was incredibly flustered. You didn't really understand why, though. You two had been friends for years, albeit not real-life friends until recently, but still. It didn't make sense to you why he was just starting to get all blushy and shy around you.

"(Y/n)?"

"Hm?" You looked up, meeting his blue eyes. They were full of anticipation and... worry?

"Do you want to go on a date with me?"
