Grounders from above

The ground

I woke up and my eyes start to focus.

"Ivy! Ivy wake up!" Clarke yelled in my ear.

I couldn't be mad at her for yelling because there was a loud metal clanking sound and something that sounded like an air conditioning blowing right in my ear. The lights were flickering and my seat was shaking.

"Clarke what the hell is going on?" I question

" We are being sent to the ground obviously." I looked over to see Wells.

Clarke immediately snapped her head around

"Wells why the hell are you here?!" She questioned.

I am assuming she had just woken up too given she hadn't addressed him yet.

"When did y'all wake up?" I question before the arguing starts.

"You two were the only ones knocked out." I looked over and it was a scrawny boy.

I give him a 'why are you talking to me' look but he continued to talk anyway.

"I'm jaspers this is Monty" he said while pointing at the boy sitting next to him.

"I'm Ivy, this is Clarke." I respond.

"Wooo space walk bandit strikes again!" I hear coming from behind me

I snap my neck around to see someone floating through the air.
The screens flash on and I see the chancellor.

"Prisoners of the ark hear me now, you've been given a second chance." He says.

He keeps talking but I get distracted but the boy floating the through the air.
He makes his way over to us.

"Get back in your seat" Clarke says

He floats in front of us.

"You're the traitors who've been in solitary for a year." He says

"And you're the idiot who waisted a month of oxygen on an illegal space walk." Clarke replied.

"Yea but it was fun." He said.

"You're and idiot." I said while rolling my eyes.

"I'm Finn" he said floating away looking Clarke's eyes.

I looked to my right to see two more boys trying to get out of their seats.

"Hey!" I yell

"Stay in your seats if you wanna live!" Clarke shouted.

Just as they started floating the drop ship started shaking.
They slammed up against the wall along with Finn.

"Finn are you ok?" Clarke shouted.

"Clarke, Ivy there is something I have to tell you guys, I'm sorry I got your parents arrested" wells said tapping Clarke's shoulder.

Wells had been head over heels for Clarke ever since we were little.

"Don't you talk about our family!" She snapped back

At this point I had already accepted that this would more than likely end in death.

"I can't die knowing you guys hate me." Wells replied

"The didn't arrest our parents wells!" Clarke said cutting them off.

"The executed them!" I added.

"And we do hate you." Clarke yelled

I admit wells did mess up pretty bad but hate us a very strong word.

In the blink of an eye everything stopped, everything was still.

"No machine hum." Monty said to break the silence.

"That's a first" Jasper added

Our seats unhooked and Clarke ran over to Finn and the other boys that were out of their seats

"Finn is he breathing?" Clarke yelled across the drop ship.

I ran to see what everyone else was doing when someone yelled "the otter door is on the lower level"

"Wait! We can't just open the door!" Clarke pled

When we got to the bottom floor there was a very handsome guard giving orders "everyone back up!"

"Don't ! The air could be toxic." I announced

"If the air is toxic we are all dead anyway." He responded.

I was making my way towards him when everything went silent after a girl climbed down the latter and said "Bellamy?"

"That was his name. No I need to focus this is life or death" I thought to myself.

"O look how big you are!" He said while embracing her with a hug.

"Where is your wrist band" Clarke questioned.

The girl turned around. "Do you mind I haven't seen my brother in over a year!" She snapped at Clarke.

"No one has a brother!" Some kid in the back yelled

"That's Octavia Blake, the girl they found hidden in the floor!" Another girl added.

She lunged towards the kids who were talking about her. Bellamy grabbed her, stopping her from making a mistake.

"Let's give them something else to temper you by." He said with a smirk.

"Yea like what?" She questioned.

"Like being the first person in the ground in a hundred years!" He answered.

Her face lit up. Bellamy then pulled a lever in the wall and a cool breeze rushed through the room. Everything was so bright I couldn't see for a moment then it all came into picture.
It was magnificent.

Octavia took a deep breath in, then she took a couple steps forward. She hopped off the drop ship door and looked up.

"We're back bitches!" She celebrated.

Everyone ran off the drop ship and into the woods.

"Clarke!" I yelled.

Of course she couldn't hear me over everyone cheering. I followed her through the woods and then I noticed the boy from earlier following her.

When she stopped Finn stopped right beside her.

"Why do serious princess?" He asked. "You don't like being called princess, do you princess?" He added.

She responded with "you see that peak over there? Mount Weather"

"Yea so?" He replied

"They dropped us on the wrong damn mountain." She clarified.

"Shit." I thought to my self.
