Grounders from above

Learning to survive

We've been on the ground for a week now. There is a lot for us to learn but we now know we weren't the first people on the ground, good news is the earth itself won't kill us, bad news is the grounders haven't stop trying. So far they have speared jasper in the heart and all together have killed 3 of us. We have begun to build a wall around the drop ship, it's gonna take a while but I think we can do it.

A pod came down with a girl in it. Her name is Raven, she and Finn are dating but I'm pretty sure Finn and Clarke slept together. I haven't talk to Clarke very much since we came down, it seems the only time we spend together is sleeping. She's trying to convince people to listen to her instead of Bellamy, but he appeals more to them, they want freedom and he knows it.

So far, Bellamy has  convinced almost everyone to take off the wristbands Clarke's mom made us to transmit our vital signs to the ark. They don't care that the ark think we are dying. I have yet to take mine off but it's getting harder. He's making us trade our wristbands for food, I have been surviving off of berries and grasses but I know I need protein soon.

I saw Bellamy talking with John Murphy. For some reason Bellamy mad him his right hand man, probably not the smartest decision. John is a hot head, just the other day he threatened Wells life.

I walked up to them and was waiting for them to stop talking. I cleared my throat to make it known that I was there. Bellamy turned and looked at me. He may be a dick but damn was he beautiful.

"I wanted to talk to you about the food situation." I stated.

"Well we have nothing to talk about because you are still wearing that wristband." He responded.

"So if I take it off I can have food?" I asked

"Yea that is the deal for everyone." He replied

"Fine." And with that I walked away.

I knew Monty and Raven were trying to use the wristbands to let the ark know we are alive. I was making my way to the drop-ship when Clarke stopped me.

"Hey what have you been up to?" She asked

"Just trying to make myself useful." I answered.

"Thank you, really." She responded.

I climbed up the latter to the floor that Monty was on. 

"Need another wristband by any chance?" I offered

"Yea actually. Thank you Ivy." He said without looking up from the wristbands he already had.

"You're welcome." I said as I opened the hatch to go back down.

I spent the rest of the day helping build the wall. When the sun was about to set I snuck off to clean myself in a creek near by. No one ever talked about how sweat makes dirt stick to you. I didn't really do anything to get dirt all over me in the ark. Hell the little bit of dirt we did have on the ark was barely touched.

I made my way back to camp just on time for my shift guarding the wall.
