"Okay that's it. He's gone," Y/n speaks, standing up straight. Their arm lifts wiping at their forehead with their arm. Blood covering their hands as they look at the lake seeing bubbles come on top of the surface where Marcus' body sank.

"Dumb and dumber are getting rid of Conrad's body as we speak," Gunnar says grabbing a towel from his back pocket wiping at his hands. "You know Everlynn's going to find out."

"No she's not. As long as me and you can keep our mouths shut. We're good at secrets," Y/n spoke wiping their hands on their black jeans. The blood coming off some.

"What about the pregnant girl you have tied up in that sick ass room?" Gunnar questions picking up his head and turning to look at Y/n. Y/n nods and sighs, glancing to the lake before turning on their heels heading to the truck.

"I'll deal with her. I always have," Y/n said reaching into their pocket and pulling out the keys.

"Deal with her? You going to keep her locked up? Keep her away from Everlynn until Everlynn decides to leave and go back to her own life?"

"She should now. Conrad's dead. She has no reason other than Alycia to stay. However with you around she has nothing to worry about right?"

Gunnar nods as the two look at each other from either side of the truck. Y/n nods, grinning for a half of second before looking away and opening up the truck door. Both of them get in. Y/n starts the engine and pulls out of the place getting back onto the road.

"You're avoiding anything to do with Alycia," Gunnar spoke as Y/n grips the steering wheel tightly. "You're mad."

"I'm not mad," Y/n said keeping the tight hold of the wheel.

"The way you're gripping that wheel says otherwise," Gunnar responds eyeing Y/n before looking straight ahead. Y/n glances down at their hand noticing how tightly they actually were holding the wheel. They loosen their grip of the wheel and focus back on the road.

"I wanted more info from Marcus. I didn't expect Alycia to find him there. She must have followed me down. I don't know how I missed that," Y/n explains shaking their head. Gunnar taking in every word.

"Like I said, she's picking up traits she didn't have when you brought her into this life," Gunnar said causing Y/n to nod. "She's learning the ways of our life Y/n. That girl, Alycia was a girl from Australia who moved to California to get a fresh start."

"She wasn't happy though. Her boss was a creep. A perv and I did what I had too."

"She saw you kill somebody else so you went after her," Gunnar spoke truthfully. Y/n rolls their eyes. "I went to her apartment. I guess after you and her left. I searched that place and I dug into Alycia."

"You what? Why the hell-"

"Y/n listen!" Gunnar shouted as Y/n tilts their head to the side. "Alycia is a good girl okay. Never been in trouble except for a few police interactions because of ex boyfriends."

"I already know this."

"Yeah but you don't know she's been in contact with Harry Stevens." Y/n immediately hits the breaks and whips their head around looking at Gunnar. Their eyes lock and Y/n clenches their jaw, furrowing their brows.
