Talk echoes through the room as Everlynn passes in. Y/n and Gunnar stand looking over surveillance footage of Conrad and where he's been.

"What was he doing all over these places?" Y/n asks, crossing their arms over their chest, watching intently.

"Probably trying to get out of here. Luckily we got to him, unfortunately we didn't get to speak to him," Gunnar responds speeding through the video a bit.

"Conrad's dead?" Everlynn asks causing Gunnar to pause the video as both him and Y/n turn facing the girl. Y/n nods standing up straight, crossing their arms over their chest. "When? How?"

"A shootout. People Gunnar sent in tried to take him and bring him here but he pulled a gun," Y/n responds, as they lean against the table. Everlynn nods looking down as a low sigh escapes her lips. Y/n looks away from their sister and to Gunnar who eyes Y/n curiously and questioning them but Y/n shakes their head. "Right now we're trying to figure out what he's been doing."

Everlynn nods, picking up her head and looking around. "Where's Alycia?" She asks and there's hesitation between both Gunnar and Y/n, now as they avoid looking at the girl. Y/n shrugs and stands up, dropping their arms from their chest.

"Probably sleeping. She said she wasn't feeling the best," Y/n responds, turning their back to Everlynn and to the computer screen, examining all the different security cameras. Gunnar looks at them too as Everlynn squints her eyes, looking back and forth between the two's back as she nods.

"Okay um, then I'm going to go pack my stuff up," Everlynn announces causing both Y/n and Gunnar to side eye one another.

"Pack your stuff up?" Y/n questions.

"Yep. Conrad's not a threat anymore. He's dead. Marcus is dead. There's really no reason for me to be here. Like you said too. I'm not needed," Everlynn says turning on her heels and heading out of the room. Y/n finally glances over their shoulder, watching Everlynn leave but shrugs and looks back at the cameras. Both Gunnar and them begin talking about the possibilities of what Conrad was doing and had been doing. All the while Everlynn was heading to the elevator. The responses and how the two were acting wasn't settling right with her.

She knew Alycia wasn't sleeping. She checked Alycia's room and Y/n's room. Hell checked that whole floor. And then proceeded to check all the possible places Alycia could be but couldn't find the girl. Y/n was lying. Why though? Usually they'd be tied to the hip. Or at least be in the same room. Something was wrong. Something was off.

A sigh escapes Everlynn's lips as they enter the elevator and let the doors close. Her eyes look at the buttons. Scanning over them until a lightbulb goes off inside her head. She reaches forward swiftly and hits the button of the floor she's never been on. The floor Y/n told her not to go on because it was trashed and pointless.

The elevator begins moving and Everlynn reaches down and pulls up her pants a bit, pulling out her gun. She stands up straight hearing the elevator ding before the doors slide open. There the girl's eyes scan the area. It wasn't trashed. It was mainly empty.

Hesitantly the girl steps off of the elevator, raising up her gun and making sure to check every possible spot. However when she walks down the hall she comes to a point where there's right and left. Up and down both ways was doors. All dark behind the glass except one. Slowly, carefully Everlynn approaches the one. She places her back to the door and looks around before glancing over her shoulder taking a peak inside. From there her eyes go wide and concern fills her as she hurriedly looks down and grabs the doorknob. She twists it, finding it unlocked. Shockingly.
