"I FEEL LIKE DEATH," complained Raewyn, she wasn't sure what it was about wedding nerves, but she always felt like death when it came to them.
Beatrice smiles at her Princess, "you will be fine, I even got to see a sneak peek of the wedding dress, it's stunning."
"Oh really?" Raewyn feels her mouth turn upwards in a smile, "I just get so nervous when it comes to marrying someone, no matter who it may be..."
"Don't judge my dear Aunt," Rhaenyra said as she barged in, "she's always like that."
Raewyn nods, "she's right, I am."
"Would it be helpful if you got a sneak peek of the dress, I got chosen specially for you?" Rhaenyra asked.
Raewyn's eyes lighten, "yes!"
Beatrice smiles.
"Bring it in!"
Ariella walks in holding the top of the dress with Alexander holding the bottom, "I'd usually do this type of thing with Adya but..."
"Oh, it's fine," Raewyn says with a smile, "my dear boy is welcome anytime."
Alex smiles back at his mother, not liking the idea of her marrying Daemon but he was supportive of his mother, they set the dress bag on the table.
"It's yours to reveal, bride-to-be," Rhaenyra tells her.
Raewyn smiles and nods whilst Alexander tries to ignore the angry feeling inside that brews every time, he imagines his mother with anyone else that isn't his father...
Raewyn unties the bag only to see a stunning wedding ivory dress.
"It's... It's perfect," Raewyn confessed, "I love it."
"I knew it would make you smile," Rhaenyra hugged her Aunt.
Beatrice quickly ties it back, "to keep it in mint condition," she told them.
They nod, "so... My dear child," Rae turned to Ariella who perked her head up, "you are to be married soon as well."
"Oh... Yes, I know," says Ariella quietly, she fiddled with her hands, "I miss my sister... Never thought I'd have to do this without her."
"Oh, sweet girl," Raewyn pulled her into a hug, "I feel the same about my own wedding, but she is still with us, you know that."
"I know..."
DAEMON STOOD AT ADYA'S GRAVE...
They had buried her on the hills with the sun and skies above her... But it seemed he wasn't the only parent who thought of this.
"Same idea?" Asked Raewyn in Valyrian.
Daemon turns to face his betrothed, "you could say that... I just wanted a moment with our daughter before the wedding..."
"I understand," Raewyn stood beside him as stared at her engraved name, "when I first got pregnant with Adya I truly did not know how to feel... She was a product of us and I didn't want to feel anything for you," Daemon just kept his eyes on the grave, "I loved Harwin and I didn't want to break faith with him again, but she was my baby no matter what, and I loved her."
"And I loved her just as much," Daemon told her, "do you not believe that?"
"I know, Daemon," Raewyn said, "Adya spoke very highly of you every time you two were apart, you know... She loved you."
Daemon turned to his betrothed, "no matter what happens, it's you and me."
Raewyn thought of her children, "Daemon-"
