It was the next day and as Katsuki woke up the faint pitter-patter of rain hit the window as he groaned and sat up.
Shivering a bit but shaking it off. Katsuki sighed and laid against the headboard of the bed, clenching his hands in a fist over his lap before pulling his knees to his chest. He looked at the ceiling and contemplated, the morning was cold and outside it was pouring and the clouds were dark, he couldn't help but feel helpless and down under.

Normally he would wake up by izukus's side. But ever since yesterday, he didn't know what to feel anymore.
Mad? Sad? Glad even-!
But alas, that wasn't the case. His heart squeezed even tighter as he let out a faint grasp and grasped the side of his chest where his heart was gritting his teeth in pain. His heart pounding. Hungry his mind haunted him, "fuck!" Katsuki cursed as he started panting slightly, gripping his chest and the blanket beside him while trying to breathe and take steady breaths.

After some time he felt calm enough to outside the room.

Katsuki slowly walked to the door, his tail dragging on the cold wooden flooring before huffing and opening the door, the door let out a faint squeak as he walked through and walked down the dark hall to see the morning light deep through the living room windows.
And there, Izuku lay, still asleep. Katsuki frowned slightly, but he had hope.

Upon seeing Izuku it dawned on him that maybe he should try to make breakfast. But he was unsure after the incident last night.
He kissed his teeth and sighed walking past the sleeping Izuku who rested under the fluffy blankets that could've also kept Katsuki warm last night.

Katsuki felt as if this was unfair, very unfair— he never saw Izuku like this before and it worried him even though his face would just show a grumpy tired Katsuki.
It was confusing. He didn't want to go back home or leave Izuku all alone again, fearing the outcome of that incident if it happened again.
Instead, he tried looking on the brighter side and walked towards the kitchen, and pulled out his phone from his pocket before turning it on and sighing.

"Mm.." Izuku hummed slightly and sniffed the air as the sweet aroma filled the house as he sat up and rubbed his eyes.
Opening them he looked around to see Katsuki in the kitchen cooking. Izuku frowned and averted his gaze. Grabbing the remote and turning on the tv.

"Today on December 13th in Musutafu city just this morning at 3:30 am, two Rank B heroes have been reported dead. Evidence of drugs lay near their dead bodies. None of them seemed to be injured but as if they both had a heart attack. Is this some villain's game? or is this the latest trend of heroes of good turning bad? Now taking you back to the scene of the crime.
Officers think the drugs have something to do with it but upon—"

Izuku zoned out. He rubbed the bridge of his nose and sighed flipping off his blankets and grabbing the remote and changing the channel.
"Dumbasses," Izuku mumbled in a groggy tone. Suddenly a light tap was heard and Izuku looked down to see Katsuki set a plate of pancakes and sausage on the table. "Please eat." Was all Katsuki said before walking away?

Izuku frowned and contemplated. He didn't want to eat..but his stomach said otherwise as it growled in anticipation.
Tiredly, Izuku grabbed the plate and sat it on his lap, using the fork that lay on there to cut and eat his food.
Katsuki sat at the dining table and saw Izuku eating his eyes brightened, and the corners of his lips perked up into a soft smile before smirking and curling his tail around the chair legs.
