Natsu x Reader (Fairy Tail)

Hey everyone! Sorry this new part took longer than usual. School and finals are taking over my time. I hope to continue writing more often though as the school year comes to a close. Currently I am working on the next chapter for my Death Note fan fiction, so I will be updating that sooner or later, then I will begin to work on the next one-shot! I am currently taking requests for one shots so I'd like to hear what you guys have to say! Hope you all enjoy this new installment!

You looked at the table filled with (favorite food). "Finally done!" You smiled, it had been two years since you and Natsu had began dating. He is always sweet, caring, romantic, and is always there for you. But, as Natsu goes, he can be pretty forgetful. You hoped that he wouldn't forgot this year, it might be the last time.

There was a knock on the door, you happily answered it. "Hey (Y/N)" Natsu smiled, kissing your forehead. "Woah! Look at all this food!" He sat down at the table giving you a 'can I eat it?' look. You nodded as he dug, in eating esthetically while you sat down as well, slowly eating you food. "So, whats the special occasion?" he said with his mouth half stuffed. "You're never this dressed up."

You were wearing a (F/C) dress with your (H/C) hair pulled into a long braid. (Sorry for all you long haired people, hang in there!) Staring down, you were disappointed. He really had forgotten.

He finished his food, standing up. "So, uh, would you like to go for a walk?" He held out his hand.

Not bothering to take his hand you stood up grabbing a black coat hanging from the chair, walking out into the cold winter air. He gave you a small confused and worried look, eventually shrugging it off.

You walked down the almost empty city street, attempting to keep your distance from him, of course you were annoyed at him for forgetting. You shivered, hugging your body, the winter cold had gotten to your core.

The dragonslayer noticed this, taking off his scarf and wrapping it around your neck then pulling you close, wrapping his arm around you. Continuing to walk, he brought you to a small bench overlooking the town. Sitting down, snow fell down through the small wind, nesting its way into your hair, making it sparkle. He walked around the bench, moving behind you. "You alright? You seem off..." Staying silent you didn't bother to reply. He drifted his hand around your shoulders, then retracted them. Feeling something next to the scarf loosely wrapped on your shoulders, you looked down. A small crystal charm in the shape of the sun rested on your chest. He rested his head on your shoulder and cooed softly in your ear. "Happy anniversary."

Your heart raced as he kissed your cheek. He really did remember. He walked around to the front of the bench, pulling you to your feet so you could face him. "You remembered..." Your words drifted off.

He gave you a warmhearted, toothy smile and replied, "I would never forgot about the most important girl in the world."

Guilt flowed through you. "I-" He cut you off pulling his scarf that was around you by the ends, pressing his lips against yours, the kiss instantly re-igniting the burning fire in your heart. Your lips molded to his as you passionately returned the kiss. He wrapped his arms around your waist as your arm rested on his shoulder with the other hand brushing through his pink hair. The kiss deepened as he licked the bottom of your lip, begging for entrance. You obliged, letting him explore every inch of the small cave. He broke the kiss in what time seemed like an eternity as you stared at him, eyes filled with guilt. "I'm sorry for getting mad at you..." You mumbled under your breath.

He put a finger to your lip. "The past is the past (Y/N)." He pecked you on the lips a last time. "Happy anniversary beautiful. I love you."

Your cheeks burned as you stared into his dark orbs. "I love you too."

Best Anniversary Ever...
