it took him all not to press on the brake hard for jungkook, he suddenly felt like there's been thousands of needles piercing through his heart as it clenched painfully in his chest.

that's all he could utter because he doesn't know what he's supposed to talk or he can even talk properly with the sudden dry throat and dizzy mind.

“ why did you came to meet him today taehyung?” jungkook then asked eyes sharp focusing on the road and his jaw clenched.
taehyung licked his bottom lip fully understanding how much jungkook was serious with the question because the younger called him by his name without any nicknames or hyung.
“ i will be honest i don't know myself , meeting him after years brought back so many memories. how i fell in love and how all of my lovey dovey dreams got shattered into pieces because of one person. joonie, i am truly proud of where he's today. we might not be lovers anymore but i will forever consider him as one of my greatest friends. whatever happened in our past it wasn't his fault, fate didn't wanted us together and i genuinely don't have any feelings for him anymore either so i guess as a friend i just wanted to meet my old college friend today ” taehyung said.
“ is he really just a friend to you? ” jungkook asked with a gulp, throat felt too dry for some reason.
“ if he wasn't, i probably had gone with him in his car already instead of waiting for you kookie ” taehyung then said with a soft smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
and jungkook don't know why but the answer brought a sudden rush of possesiveness within him and his tummy fluttered with a fuzzy feeling.
