taehyung's eyes went wide, his cheeks flaming beet red and he could practically hear his heart beat ringing in his ear. for the first time ever , jungkook had said those three magical words to him .
surely they have accepted each other as lovers and had said many things but none of them said those words to the other till this day.
so after hearing them from jungkook's mouth finally , taehyung couldn't help but shivered with a tingling sensation bubbling in his tummy.
jungkook soon realized what he just said and his cheeks flushed. he avoided the older's gaze and looked down feeling nervous all of a sudden after noticing taehyung's flabbergasted expression.
the younger came out of his thoughts when he found a piece of cake being held in front of him and taehyung looking at him expectedly.
he pretended to ignore the slight pinch in his heart because of the way the older didn't replied to his confession . he took a bite from the cake feigning a smile .

“ thank you baby ” taehyung replied smiling to himself watching the other and took a bite of the cake from the same part where jungkook previously ate.
“ never thought my wish will get fulfilled this early ” he said still smiling and jungkook looked at him confused and curiously so taehyung continued, “ you were my wish ”
“ hyung you didn't had to wish that, i have been yours from when , i myself don't know. i didn't even realized when i fell in love with you ” jungkook said softly .
“ me too ” taehyung replied smiling to himself, “ you know i used to think i can control myself from falling in love but then i realized how wrong i was back then. we really can't fall in love on a fixed date or time . it just happens naturally on its own ”
taehyung chuckled wiping the corner of his eyes before his gaze locking with the younger's, “ i love you jeon jungkook, i love you so much maybe more than even myself but a little less than our baby ”
a hearty laugh bubbled out from the younger's throat with his eyes moistening from happiness , “ the only person with whom i can share you whole heartly without any hesitation ” and taehyung giggled.
taehyung placed the remaining cake on their nightstand and jungkook placed the mini table on the ground beside their bed making more space for both of them .
