“ i think we should start the meeting without wasting further time ” jungkook said after the brief introduction taking his seat and stealing another glance from his secretary who seemed to be still zoning out while his head hung low.
jungkook placed his hand on the older's thigh and caressed the back of the other's hands which immediately made the secretary snap out of his thoughts and look at his boss.
“ are you feeling good? ” the younger had asked and taehyung nodded his head instantly cursing himself in his head for behaving in such way during a vital meeting for their company.
jungkook has been already worried about him and he didn't wanted to make the other worry even more so like usual he put the facade he learnt to put over years and decided to handle the situation with his calm posture.
he got up from his seat after handing the other companies two ceo the files they have prepared and later explained about it to them.
jungkook ignored the way namjoon's eyes stayed on taehyung throughout the meeting even when it wasn't necessarily needed but he was glad to see his secretary going back to the professionalism he maintains to gain everyone's attention with that calm velvety voice explaining everything with ease .
he knows something is bothering taehyung yet he respected the way the older can handle the equations between private and work life .
the moment the presentation ended, taehyung bowed and went back to his seat. and jungkook found himself caressing the other gently on his back and offering the older a soft smile, enough for taehyung to know that he was proud of him.
taehyung couldn't hold himself back from smiling back and nod his head subtly.
they came out of the bubble created around them because of mr. min's voice who was looking at them with a grin, “ i am very satisfied and interested in working with your company in the project, namjoon also approved the plan so after signing the deal today we would like to start all the works from next week ”
“ sure it'll be my pleasure to be able to work with the both of you and i am glad you liked the plan ” jungkook replied getting up from his seat and shaking his hands with the older man.
the rest of signing deals went smoothly and the business partners decided to take their leave, when taehyung suddenly got up from his seat and went to the door to go outside.
“ where are you going? ” jungkook asked with a frown, stopping the other on his tracks. taehyung turned his head back with a gulp, “ washroom, wasn't feeling well so thought about washing my face with some water may can help ”
“ oh tae, you really should have stayed at the home, i could have told hoseok to assist me in the meeting. do you want me to come with you? ” jungkook asked worriedly and taehyung shook his head, “ don't worry much okay? others can get suspicious and in this condition i really don't want anymore unnecessary attention on me please ”
