Zio's POV

I put up a fight the whole time. I was shocked Toni was doing this to me. Was he an enemy now? I thought I could trust him. God, I am so confused I don't know what to think about this. Toni half dragged and half carried me and whispered in a low but hard tone "Z, calm down, don't fight, I promise everything will be okay and I'll explain later, please just walk." I sighed and gave in, starting to walk with Toni as he loosened his grip on me. I looked from Toni to the older man when he caught my eye I looked away quickly, observing my surroundings. I didn't say a single word as they took me to a big building. When we entered they led me down empty halls there were a few doors and when I looked into them I noticed they appeared to be classrooms, there were even a few young teenagers in some of them but they didn't even look at me. We walked up a few flights of stairs until we reached the third floor and we walked down the hall, it looked different than the others, there were no doors along the sides and it had a few paintings on the walls. At the end of the hall there were two wooden doors. The older man knocked 3 times KNOCK - there was a pause before the other two KNOCK-KNOCK. I heard a deep male voice say "Come in." We followed the man in after he opened the doors and walked in. There was an old man sitting behind a desk going through some papers, he didn't even seem to notice us come in and I wondered if he was the one who invited us in. The man that was with us walked around and whispered in the grey haired guy's ear. I noticed how stiff Toni was standing and how hard his grip was on my arm, pushing that aside I listened closely trying to hear what the man was saying, all I caught was "Alditore Child". After that was said the grey haired man looked up immediately observing me and Toni with his deep brown eyes and I could feel Toni's grip getting even stronger. "So.." he began as he kept staring "you're the daughter of the famous Angelo Alditore?" I nodded and looked down remembering what I was wearing I saw my black combat boots and brown pants with some rips on them. He interrupted my thoughts and said "The blood of Angelo Alditore is standing right in front of me, I can't believe it" a small smile crept onto is face for a second then he looked over at Toni "Marcus, pleasure seeing you again, would you mind telling me how you got your hands on this girl? And let go of her, you have to be cutting off the circulation in her arm" he let go of me quickly leaving a red mark on my arm, I considered running but I decided not to, this was getting interesting. "Red found her at the remains of the Alditore residence, she was in Angelo's office, rummaging through papers" I wondered why they seemed to be treating my father like he was famous around them, he was a simple man he didn't seem to have much of a reputation to make him considered famous. "Is that so?" He seemed to be thinking for a moment then looked at me "What's your name young lady?" "Zio Ace Alditore" I replied. "Where were you all this time?" I didn't get a chance to answer because Toni was doing it for me "She went missing after the burning down of the Alditore residence, nobody knew where she was at or what she had been doing." The grey haired man nodded and looked at me "Well, Zio, I'm Headmaster Black and I have a question. Do you know what your family did?" I shook my head, confused with his question "They were a legend, the best assassin's in the world so far." I was shocked. MY FAMILY, ASSASSINS?! He had to be kidding, this man was out of his mind! He is crazy! My mother couldn't even hurt a fly and my father was anything but violent. Something was off about this but I couldn't quite place a finger on it "Your mother and father's name were and still are a legend. Of course the Cuccini family were staying in the dark. Known for poisons and medicines but the Alditore family was better with stealth and weaponry" after I was sure he was finished talking I asked "What do you want fro me?" He stood and walked over to me, I had to look up at him "I have an offer for you, I want you to join us here at the Sanguine Academy for Assassin's and carry your families name. What do you say Zio? Join us?"
