Kidnapper's POV
I was sent to the burnt down remains of the Alditore residence to check if I could find anything. I doubt it though, the house had been burnt down for about three to four years and we still hadn't found anything with information on the family or anything actually usefull we could use. I approached the abandoned house and the door was open already, "Weird," I said silently Someone must be here I thought to myself. The house was secluded though, who would have any business being all the way out here? I entered the house cautiously making sure nobody was going to sneak up on me. I walked down the hall towards Angelo Aldirtore's office when I heard a small feminine voice come from inside "What the fuck is this?" the voice said. I slowly and silently crept into the room hoping not to disturb the person, whoever she was. Her back was to me, I noticed automatically she wasn't wearing a dress and found it weird since women always wore dresses. Being clumsy old me I knocked a book off the book shelf and it landed with a small thud. Shit I thought to myself, the girl turned around and I instantly knocked her out with a potion Marcus had asked for me to test, I caught her before she hit the ground and put the potion away. I picked her up and observed her she was no more than 16 or 17 years old, she was kind of cute too. I carried her out of the house and for some reason something told me to take her back to the academy. I must be out of my mind I told myself as I retrieved my chestnut colored horse and sat her carefully in front of me. The trip back to the academy ranged from 3 to 4 days depending on how fast you traveled, so I made no hesitation and pushed my horse to a full gallop to get there more quickly.
~3 Days Later~
By the time we arrived I was exhausted and I'm sure my horse was too. I tied my horse up and gave him some water and grain. I walked into the school grounds carrying the girl bridal style. Marcus was outside leaning against one of the dorm houses, he walked up to me "Hey Red, where ya been man? Haven't seen ya in days and the boss is pretty tipped off with ya" his mouth curved into a smirk but he dropped it when he saw the girl in my arms "Who's she?". "I was sent to the remains of the Alditore residence and found her there, I don't know why but instinct told me to bring her here. I knocked her out with that potion you made, it worked on the spot" he smiled with pride and said "Well, take her to the Alditore dorm since you found her at that house" I smirked playfully "You keep watch over her, when she wakes up it won't be pretty, and I don't want to be around when that happens." With that I handed the girl to Marcus and went off on my own.
Marcus's POV
After Red left me I carried her to the dorm house with the name 'Alditore' on it. No one had used it since Angelo. Rumor said only 1 person remained alive out of the family out of the murder and that was Ezio. He had been gone for a while though so no one knew for sure. I knew one of the girls out of that family, she was like a little sister to me and I hadn't seen her since we were kids. Her name was Zio, but I called her Z. I laid the girl down on the bed in the small house and pulled up a small chair observing her as she slept. She had a slight frown on her face, "Must be having a bad dream," I thought to myself "I hope Red didn't put too much of a fright in her." She looked roughly about 5'5" or 5'6", somewhere around there. She had a nice tan and a curvy body. Something about her set off memories of Zio in my mind, she looked too much like her. She stirred and slowly opened her eyes, I almost chocked on my breath as my face went pale. Those blue green eyes intensely staring at me. It was her. It was Zio. "Zio...?" I said quietly, still shocked that she was alive and right in front of me.
Zio's POV
I had just snapped out of a nightmare. The same family nightmare just kept haunting me and I couldn't get rid of it. The last thing I remembered was finding the strange papers in my father's office, after that I couldn't remember. "Zio..?" I heard a soft male voice say, it sounded like my old childhood friend Antonio Fernando, Toni for short. I was shocked as I instantly sat up "Where am I? Who are you and how do you know my name?" I questioned the hooded figure sitting by me. He had his face covered and spoke in a low voice "You're safe Z. Don't freak out on me." Only one person called me that, and it was Toni. "Toni? Is that really you?" I asked confused. He seemed to smile "Yes Z, it's me." I took a little while to look at what he was wearing. He had a navy blue hood with gold trim. After studying him for a few more moments I took some time to look around the small room, the only things that seemed to be in it were the bed, the desk, and a few bookshelves. "I missed you Z. It's been 4 years, so long. Everyone thought you were dead, and I did too." He grabbed me and pulled me into a tight hug. "It's good to see you again Z, you're looking good as always" he told me as he released me from the hug, he still held my arms though. He had always been a flirt, same old Toni I couldn't help but smile. "What were you doing at the house?" He asked me I shifted my weight a little before I replied "Well, I went back to see if I could find anything salvageable to remember my family by and then I think I was knocked out, it's still a bit hazy" he stared for a bit, his expression unreadable. I interrupted his thoughts by asking "What are you wearing Toni?" He looked at his attire then back at me "We can talk about that later, for right now stay here." He left the room without another word, leaving me alone and confused. I shook the feeling and took the opportunity to look around. There was a board on the wall covered with pictures of people with red marks over some. At the top of the board it read "TARGETS". I frowned, now things were just weird. I didn't understand any of this. I opened a small door that led to a closet full of white clothes with some red on them. I shut the door and went over to the desk, there was a book on top of it, possibly a journal. I wondered if this room was Toni's but I doubted it. I picked up the book and began to flip through its contents. Most of it was how assassinations were completed and was written with vivid detail. I heard the door knob move and got startled, dropping the book back om the desk I hurried back to the bed and sat on the side of it with a stiff posture and I tried to relax so I didn't look suspicious. The door opened and 6 hooded figures walked in, 2 of them looked more feminine than the other 4. 3 other people walked in Toni, a guy that looked older than everyone else in the room, and another hooded figure who escorted the 6 out saying "Get to class, this is a private issue" before they left hearing range I heard them taking. "Who is she?" "Do you think she's Alditore?" "She looked pretty hot." The elder spoke "What's your name?" When I didn't speak Toni answered the question "I'm Marcus Riddell, and this is Zio, the girl I told you about sir." Why did he say Marcus Riddell? That isn't his name. The elder stepped closer "What business did you have in that burnt down house in the woods?" He asked with an attitude "What business do you have keeping me here where I don't know where I am or who anybody is besides Toni?" I thought to myself then punched him clean in the gut, he wasn't expecting the hit so he staggered back a few feet "Next time, don't be rude." I said with a firm tone, Toni almost choked trying not to laugh and I smiled slightly. The elder man glared down at me now, obviously irritated "Are you part of the Alditore family?" I hesitated before nodding my head. The man looked to Toni and pointed at me saying "Seize her." Toni looked at me, a worried expression on his face as he now held me captive. Now I was more afraid than ever of what fate was going to bring me.
