Lexve..

LEVI ARCANE;

I didn't know why being hated by her mattered to me right now but it did.

How was Danielle supposed to look at me now?

'Could you step aside so I can have a turn?' Jeff said irritatedly, I glared at him but he didn't move. I sighed and walked away from the door.

Jeff stood there for what felt like days, staring at her. Even talking at times.
I sighed when the doctor came to her door and asked him to move. We tried to follow him in but he closed the door behind us.

Another doctor came and we stopped him.
'Is she getting better?' Jeff asked.

He sighed before looking at me. 'I am afraid she is worse than yesterday, it's like her body doesn't want to heal!'
He attempted to get in but I grabbed him.

'What do you mean by that?' I growled.

'She simply won't heal!' He said it bluntly and I couldn't help but feel the urge to snap his neck.

'But Levi's blood can help her_' Jeff reminded and his attention shifted for a moment.

'It might but..that's not an option right now!' He looked back at me. 'We found a component in her blood, thistle stone dissolves!'

I gasped. 'That is impossible, only those with pure lozenge meta lineage have it!'

'Yes..but I didn't say it was concentrated. It is in minimal amount and will react with anything connected to light!' He looked at all of us to emphasize the point.

'Can blood connected to darkness help?' I asked realizing my only help was that connection to darkness.

He nodded.

The swathers or should I say Avian Viridian.

'Be right back!' I said to all of them and I am guessing they all caught up to my thoughts because no one said a thing.

***
It was on rare occasions that we mythical creatures crossed onto others' territories. This was one of those rare occasions.

I walked to the oak tree we used to cross. Clawing at my palm, I took my blood and scribbled..

Cydex

I hated having to face these creatures but I had to. The most amiable was Avian and yet it wasn't by choice.

The grass I stood on begun to dry up and once it got my attention, I looked up and saw I was in this cold dry looking place.
In less than a few seconds of my arrival, I was approached by three of them swathers.

'State your reason for your breach of the peace contract, little Alpha!' One of the swathers licked his lips disgustingly. He was bald with tattoos and black pierced lips.

'I'd prefer to talk to a pretty one!' I looked at the rest hoping they'd take me to one.

'You little_' The bald one croaked but Avian's voice interrupted.

'Levi?' He said calmly intentionally not acknowledging his subordinates. 'What makes you breach our peace contract?'

I rolled my eyes. 'I need your help_'

He laughed forcefully. 'Then you'll have to pay a price_'

'Yeah..I will. Just name it after you help me!' I wave off his moment of victory.

'Very well!' He gave the swather subordinates a side eye and within a flash, they were gone.
'So what do you want?'

'I need a pint of your blood!' I looked at him and laughed.

'Do you think me stupid?' His laughter was gone. 'Why would I give my blood to a child of a beast?'

'I won't say anything bad because I need your help.' I said to him when a smile broke out on his face. 'It's for Samuelle_'

His smile vanished and his aura was cold. 'What did you do?'

'She got injured, internally bled.. biology biology biology stuff like that..' I explained to him in the best way I could.
He glared at me.

'She got an internal bleeding and I am guessing she got an improvement after surgery and then worsened the next day, that's why you're here?'

I nodded. 'How did you know?' I asked honestly shocked and impressed.

'I am older than you, pup!' He addressed me by a undermining pet name. I growled. 'I have tried everything to exhaustion, including medicine!'
'Take me to her!' Avian looked at me seriously. I saw how his eyes wavered and I knew there was something more to this.

'You think I could let a swather on_'

'Yet I let you on my territory!' He spoke seriously, this time there was no waver. He was serious and I knew it'd be disrespectful for me to refuse him in Lexve when I crossed to Cydex.

'Fine!' I turned to him gesturing for him to follow. 'Only because you're her only choice of survival!'

I waited for him to unlock his gate way to Lexve and I was shocked when he only waved his arm. Within a split second, we were already there.
I was proud when I saw the warriors already running to the gateway fearing that it was broken.

'Look at them!' Avian scoffed. 'Animals!'

I glared at him. 'At least we look better!'

'Levi?' Avian looked at me grabbing my face, he made me look directly into his face. I was close enough to study it.
'Am I not gorgeous?'

I stared blankly at his face; Aurora green eyes, straight nose, pink lip_
'What the f_' I stopped realizing those weren't my thoughts but his. This is why I hated swathers.
'You know what Avian? You are gorgeous' I added the word not by choice. I needed his help.

'You too!' He said bluntly and walked off. Usually, I'd love these praises but not from Avian.
He was too annoying and for some reason looked the same as before. Oh.. right! Swathers don't age. How sad!

I led him past the warriors, ordering them to stand down. Avian scoffed.
'Why don't you let them come and die?'

'Excuse me?' I pretended not to have heard.

'Levi.. I have seen much worse than you pups!' He threw his finger aimlessly and I felt like biting it off.
'Just like I can tell you want to bite my finger!'

I rolled my eyes involuntarily.

'Take me to Samuelle!' He paused as if sensing something.

'Follow me_' I couldn't even complete my statement because Avian was gone.
Vanished into thin air. I had let a swather in here and he was out of my sight!!
