CHAPTER 19

A/N YIPPEE ANOTHER CHAPTER

"You guys look like you've just seen a ghost" Rain comments laughing.
"Yeah guys, are you alright?" Aether asks nudging Rain and telling him to lay off.
"Wha- oh I'm fine" I laugh. Sodo fakes a smile.
"Yep, all good here!" He exclaimed.
I let out a sigh of relief. They didn't see.

After an awkward silence, we all sit on the blanket Mountain brought with us. Chatting and laughing about our next gig with the band.
"Oh my god! Sodo it's gonna be your first gig!!" Cirrus smiles excitedly. Sodos eyes lit up.
"Oh yeah! I'm so excited!" He grins. I hum in agreement.
After sitting, chatting, laughing and blasting music, Aether decides that we should head back before it's too dark.

After finally arriving back at the campsite, Mountain makes a campfire and we all ate takeaway pizza that aether somehow ordered for the camp.
Now we're all laughing and chatting whilst roasting marshmallows.
It's completely dark out and so you can't see beyond the light of the campfire.

After a while, loud laughter and chatter turned into quiet chat. As everyone is talking amongst themselves. I look down at sodo who is resting his head on my shoulder.
"You okay?" I whisper placing a hand on his thigh.
"Ye-yeah, just tired" he whispers back.
"Do you wanna go to the tent?" I smile subtly.
"Yeah sure" he smiles back
"Hey, guys" I start getting the other ghoul's attention I and sodo stood up from our seats.
"I and sodo are gonna hit the hay"
"Alright good night dude" Rain replies
"Goodnight guys" Aether beams

We walk over to our tent. Luckily, we have 3 tents. This means the Ghoulettes get to go to one, mountain, and rain and Aether go to another which meant Sodo and I have our own. Finally unzipping the tent and getting in, so do quite literally collapses into me.
"Hi" I giggle
"Hi," he says sleepily as he pulls me into a loving embrace. Which was then followed by me pecking him on the forehead.
"Let's get ready for bed" I smile. We get changed into our pyjamas and got into our sleeping bags, it was mine but sodo decided it was both of ours. I wrap my arms around him pull him into a kiss and go to sleep.

The next morning, I wake up to find that Sodo is no longer in bed but is outside of the tent. None of the other ghouls is awake either as it's so early. I  slowly go outside to find sodo sitting on the grass smoking a cigarette.
"Morning," I say, which makes him flinch at the sudden noise.
"Hey" he smiles continuing to take a drag from the cigarette. I sit down next to him and he leans his head against my shoulder, automatically I wrap my arm around him, drawing circles into his arm. We're silent, but a comfortable silence.
