CHAPTER 25

A/N: It is 3 am. Send help.

SWISS POV

A few weeks passed and the band has been practising so much for the next concert. I can't lie, I am TERRIFIED. There's an interview with the ghouls straight after the concert and I'm worried I'll say the wrong thing.

There's been tension hanging over the band due to Tobias summoning two new ghouls into the band. Phantom and Aurora, I've not spoken to Phantom but Aurora is lovely and she has a great voice. She's quite pretty too!
Aether and Sunshine are planning on working more on their school work for the exams before graduation so they've left the band, that'd why Tobias Invited the Two ghouls. I think it's cool having new faces within the band, however, I don't think Sodo is taking it well.

SODO POV

I don't know what to think anymore. Although I've only been in this bad for 2 months, Aether and I grew a close friendship, and I get that I can still see him, but the fact that The band just easily replaced him so quickly, with this new Ghoul. Phantom. I miss Aether, I just feel empty with him. Like he gave warmth to the band, every practice he was at it felt like the room always lit up when he walked in, now it's just dull and that Phantom guy is just an accident waiting to happen.

NO POV

Sodo was just sitting in the band's practice room, plucking at the strings of his white guitar, a sad, blank expression plastered on his face. It felt like the room surrounding the Ghoul turned into a blur.
"..odo...s...do....?.."

"Sodo!?" Swiss places his hands on the fire Ghoul's shoulders as his eyes widen.

Sodo looks up at the multi ghoul furrowing his eyebrows.
"Fuck dude, I thought you went brain dead or something" Swiss chuckles, brushing his fingers through the shorter's long hair.
Sodo just smiles which looks more like a grimace as he looks down at his hands which from plucking the guitar strings so much eventually started to bleed a bit.

Swiss turns around and locks the practice room door as he made his way back to the fire ghoul who's still looking at his hands.

"Talk to me," Swiss asked.
"What's going on?" He adds

Sodo doesn't reply and just starts cracking his knuckles.

Swiss just watched this happen, and slowly places his hand in Sodo's to stop the smaller ghoul, and Interlocked his fingers with the fire Ghoul.

Sodo just looks up at the multi-ghoul for a second as tears drip down his face. The taller ghoul's eyes widen at the sight as he pulls the smaller one into a gentle embrace.

"Oh, Sodo..." The multi Ghoul's lips downturn
"It's okay. I'm here" He whispers as he continues to rub the fire Ghoul's back.

"I.. I'm... sor...ry." Sodo finally gets out.
"For what!?" Swiss' eyes widen
"I'm just... so fucking pathetic."
Swiss's mouth opens slightly in shock.
"You have no right to say that about yourself. I just wish so hard that you could see yourself how I see you."

Sodo lets out a muffled sob into Swiss' Hoodie.
"Please... don't... leave me," Sodo whispers
"I am not going anywhere until you tell me to. my love." Swiss whispers.

"Why won't you leave? I'm pathetic and ugh. I don't know." Sodo continues to sob.
"I will never leave you. I've seen many sides of you and you know what? I'm pathetic too. So let's be pathetic together." Swiss smiles slightly at his comment.

Sodo just stays there in the embrace.
"I'm taking you back to my place."
Sodo says nothing and just allows the Ghoul to drag him to his dorm.

They get inside the dorm and Swiss points at his bed.
"Sit there for a second. I won't be a minute." He whispered as he went into the bathroom.

Sodo made his way to the bed, as he sat there wiping the tears from his eyes, looking down at the blood on his fingers.

Not long after, Swiss arrived at the bed with a first aid kit and a hoodie.
"I saw how fucked up your fingers have gotten from that damn guitar" Swiss chuckles a bit as he waves the first aid kit.
The multi-ghoul sits on the bed next to the fire ghoul.
"We don't need to talk if you're not ready. Okay?" He reassured the smaller ghoul as he took the bloody fingers into his hands, opening the first aid kit, and looking up at Sodo.
Sodo just nods.
Swiss takes a wipe from the kit and starts cleaning the blood off.
Sodo hisses slightly.
"I know. I know. It's gonna be slightly cold and might sting just bear with it, okay?"
Sodo nods as he watched the multi-ghoul take 2 plasters from the kit.
And places one on the first finger and the other on the second.
"There! Your all fixed up." Swiss smiles as he kisses the fire of Ghoul's temple.

Sodo lets his head fall against Swiss' chest.
"Can you just hold me. until I fall asleep?" Sodo whispers.
"Of course.
