Seven

Bailee lay in bed and sighed. She knew how things had been. She knew how Jack was there for her.

She knew how he had been trying to help her find out who had attacked her. And she didn't know how she felt about it all.

Bailee knew how things were a mess. She knew how she wanted her revenge. She knew how she wanted to just that to help her move on with her life. But she knew it wasn't easy.

She knew how she was annoyed that she didn't know how did this to her. She was annoyed how they seemed to be getting away with it all.

Bailee stood from the bed and sighed as she got dressed. She walked downstairs as she saw Ronnie and smiled.

Ronnie looked to her daughter. She smiled.  "Have you seem your sister? She is up to something," she said. 

"No. She's upset about Kush," Bailee told her.

Ronnie turned to face her. She smiled. "How are you doing? I know that you haven't had things easy at the moment."

Bailee looked to her. She smiled. "No. I haven't. But I'll be okay. I am just trying to take it one day at a time. Trying to find a way to deal with it all. And accept what happened."

Ronnie smiled "I'm sorry I want there to protect you"

"It's not your fault."

"I'm your mother. I'm meant to be there. But I promise that even though it can take some time, we will find out who did this one way or another," Ronnie said as bailee looked to her and smiled.

Bailee wakes through the square. She looked to see Kady. She sighed as she walked over to her. She could see that she had been out all night.

She saw kady with Gray and looked to them for a moment. "Is she okay?" She asked.

Gray nodded. "I was helping her home. I saw her fighting with Kush. I thought she may be better of at home," he said. 

Bailee smiled. "Thanks. What happened Kady?" She asked as she turned to her.

"Kush. He got Stacey Slater pregnant. He cheated on me," Kady sobbed. She was crying and she was drunk. 

"Can you help me get her home?" she asked Gray who nodded. "Come on drinky. Let's get you back," she said.

She knew that she could see Kady heading down a dark corner and she didn't want that for her.

Bailee sat in the house as she heard a knock at the door. She stood up and answered it. She looked to see Jack and frowned. "Can I speak to you?" He asked as she nodded

He followed her into the house and into the kitchen "I have been looking at the CCTV footage from the night you were attacked," he said as he pulled out a photo of someone.

"He was seeing following you. Does he seem familiar?" Jack as Bailee looked to the photo.

She frowned. "Yes. He is the one who attacked me," Bailee said.

Jack placed a hand on her cheek and smiled. "It's okay. We are going to find him. And make him pay. I promise," she said as Bailee smiled.

Unaware of how everything would change.
