Zayn's P.O.V.

I'd really thought that this was a good Valentines' Day type thing to do, take her to my reunion performance. Although it was kind of like a party, it was a classy party. When I'd noticed she was a bit tipsy from all of the glasses of champagne, I led her out to the car and drove her to my house.

She fell asleep on the way home, so I carried her bridal style inside. Being careful not to get her dress caught on anything on the way up the steps to the door, I held her closer to my chest. She nuzzled her face into my neck and took a deep breath, still asleep.

I continued to carry her up the stairs of my home to my bedroom. I set her down on my king sized bed and slipped her heels off, placing them at the foot of the bed neatly.

"Ellie," I whispered, squeezing her hand gently.

She wiggled around not wanting to wake up. "Mmm," she groaned.

"Ellie, we're at my place," I said softly.

She was now awake and looking at me. Her blue eyes were cloudy with confusion.

"We are in my bedroom, at my house," I repeated.

"Why?" she groggily, due to the intoxication of the alcohol.

"You are drunk," I replied. "Now, I need you to get changed into these," I said pulling out a pair of my joggers and a t shirt and handing them to her.

"Oh, okay," she said. She looked around not knowing where to go to change.

"The washroom is over there," I said pointing in the direction of it.

"Thanks," She slurred. "Wait," She turned to me, "I need you to unzip this for me." she said referring to her red dress.

"Okay," I said carefully pulling the zipper pull down the length of her back.

"Thanks!" she said holding her dress up and clumsily walking over to the bathroom, closing the door behind her.

She quickly returned, bearing my clothes which were too big for her small frame.

"I'm tired," she mumbled as she padded over to me.

While she was in the bathroom, I changed into a pair of boxers.

I pulled the sheets back and patted the bed next to me. She stepped over next to me and laid down. I did the same, tugging the fluffy comforter over us both.

Ellie's P.O.V.

I woke up to the familiar scent of green apples and a pounding headache.

I tried to shift my body but couldn't. I twisted my head around to see what the problem was. I found myself staring at a sleeping figure with his face buried in my hair, inhaling deeply. Zayn's heavy arm was draped over my size, trapping against his warm body.

I looked around the room. It was a dark grey with black furniture and dark stained flooring. This isn't my room. Where am I?

I squirmed around under the weight of Zayn's arm, which pulled me closer.

"Where do you with you're going?" Zayn whispered huskily down my neck.

I didn't reply. Only, I wiggled around to face him. He smiled with his eyes closed.

"What are you doing?" I laughed.

His beautiful brown eyes fluttered open. "Nothing," he whispered, smiling.

"Oh, riiight," I nudged him playfully. I threw the covers off of Zayn and I before jumping off the plush bed and darting down the stairs.

I quickly found a good hiding spot under the kitchen sink, snuck in closing the cabinet door gently. I heard the soft patter of feet come down the stairs, stopping in the kitchen.

"Hmmm, I wonder where Ellie is?" Zayn said sarcastically walking slowly away from my hiding spot, only to return a few seconds later.

I stifled a giggle, trying not to blow my cover.

"Well, I guess she left," he said in a fake sad voice. He padded over to the sink and turned on the water.

Suddenly, there was a tingling sensation on my face. I brushed the feeling with the tip of my fingers. It wasn't just a lock of hair dangling on my face, but a spider. I burst out of the small space, squealing and flapping my arms around my body to get the arachnid off.

"What's wrong?" Zayn said as the smile faded across his face. He rushed over to my side, grabbing a hold of my shoulders and turning my frame to look at him.

"GET THE SPIDER OFF OF ME!" I screamed, still squirming.

His eyes took a few moments to rake up and down my body to look for the small, eight-legged creature.

"Ellie," he said staring into my icy blue eyes, "It's not on you anymore." He faintly smiled as if assuring me.

I didn't reply to his words. I looked up into his caring but mysterious hazel eyes. There was something that he wasn't telling me, I just knew it.

Zayn gave me one of his outfits to wear home before he led me out to his car. We didn't really talk in the car, but it wasn't awkward.

The public weren't as interested in our companionship, so as a result there weren't as many paps hanging around all of the time.

Zayn turned the ignition off and stepped out of the vehicle. I did the same. Then turned around to walk up the side walk to my front door, but something blocked my way. Zayn.

"What are you doing?" I asked peering up to the tall boy in front of me.

"I need to ask you something."
