Trying to find yourself at the age of forty one is something that I think people don't talk enough about. You are supposed to have it all figured out but without the need for a man in my life, I have always felt like the odd one out and society has always been quick to call me heartless.

I was eighteen years old when I met a then twenty five year old, David Beckham. He had flown to America following the end of his marriage to Victoria and a whirlwind romance soon ensued between us after meeting at a Miami nightclub.

We were the most talked about couple that year but that meant nothing to us as we were just two people in love with life.

David and Victoria had welcomed a child during the course of their marriage so I made the pretty bold decision to move to the UK so he could be closer to his son. We spent two and a half years being hounded by the British press who published us on every media outlet which put a strain on our relationship.

Falling pregnant two years into the relationship meant that I had to make a serious decision on what I wanted for my child. My time in the UK had been miserable and I knew that our life would turn into a circus if the media caught onto the news of my pregnancy so I ended things with David.

I looked like a complete fool when he went back to Victoria shortly after our split but he made sure to be present for my pregnancy and birth. I had no desire to live in the UK so I moved back to the US when I was five months pregnant and found myself a nice four bedroom house in Hidden Hills.

My pregnancy was one of the best kept secrets of our time until I decided to appear on the cover of Vogue magazine when I was nine months pregnant. That moment could be described as breaking the internet and I created history by having the most copies of a single magazine issue ever sold.

Following my split with David Beckham, I went on to date a number of high profiled actors but they never seemed to last which somewhat broke my need for love from a man.

I dated Colin Farrell in 2004 but we broke up due to his rising fame which saw him touring all over the world while I tried to maintain stability for my son. I then started dating Jason Statham in 2006 after moving to North London for a bit so Romeo could be closer to his father and we were in a relationship for three beautiful years before going our separate ways.

Colin Farrell and I reunited in 2010 after he publicly declared his love for me during an interview but there were issues surrounding infidelity and my lack of trust towards him which made us end the relationship after three years.

I dated around for some years but never found anyone that I wanted to be romantically linked to so I gave my good friend, Jamie Foxx a chance in 2017 but that lasted four months. Sometimes when you have been friends for so long, it's hard to break away from that even when you are doing all the couple stuff.

I still date and hook up with men but I have not been in a relationship in six years which is concerning to a lot of folks because I am forty one years old. Seeing as I am always the one to end the relationship, the media labelled me as heartless and people started to view me as the villain in these stories when there were none.
