Chapter 2 || blast from the past

It's now 6:45 and I'm ready to leave, my mom calls me down while my dad is already in the car waiting, I walk down the stairs in my short sky blue dress with white heels trying to keep my balance as I reach the final step.

Me and my mom get in the car and arrived at the Cameron's house 5minutes early.
The car journey was silent apart from the rant my dad gave me before we got out the car.

"Now y/n before we go inside you are going to be polite, talk pretty much as little as possible, and just keep to yourself will you, the only reason your here is because ward wants to meet you"

"Wow..nice to be wanted" I roll my eyes

"What did I just say about fucking politeness y/n"

We all get out the car as a tall grown adult walks out the massive double glass doors with what I assume his daughter next to him, she has brunette,blond-ish hair, hard to tell but what I can tell is shes hella gorg.

Ward greets my mom and dad and gave us all hugs,

"It's nice to meet you y/n , I'm ward"

Before I could get a word in the girl to his right jumps in

"And I'm Sarah, it's nice to meet you"

"It's nice to meet you both aswell" I give of a fake smile

Honestly I would much rather be at the party but it doesn't start till later anyway so I guess I'm going to have to get through this.
We walk inside while ward is updating us on his life..not that anyone cares..well my parents do but they are probably the only ones, and when we walk into the dinning area there is a tall pretty women with long blonde hair waiting for us as she finished setting out the food

"This is rose, my wife and Obviously you have already met Sarah, I also have another younger daughter named wheelie , and lastly my son , rafe"

It was almost like he said his name in slow motion
"Rafe?!"

They all turn to look at me

"What?" I'm confused , why are they all looking at me?

"You said rafe's name, do you know him?"

Shit, did I say that out loud

"Um yea, we'll kinda, I met him earlier" should I have said that or should I have lied, my heart starts to race worrying what he will say

"Well then you will probably know what a dick he can be" he try's to say in a jokey way while laughing but he seemed kinda serious

"Um no actually he was quite nice and-"

Before I could finish my sentence my dad buts in and literally gives me a death stare

"Y/n I think that's enough" he looks at everyone else,
"I don't know about you but I'm hungry"

2hour later....

Rose, ward ,my mom and my dad are all drunk and lost in conversation, the times about 9:00 o'clock-ish so I know the party would have started by now and I don't know how long I could last here.

I managed to sneak out the chair and go out the back door when I hear foot steps behind me.

"Where are you going?!"

I turn round and see Sarah, and let out a sigh

"A party , this dinner is soo boring..no offense....you coming?"

"My dad will kill me"

"And you think mine won't?" I respond with

She lets out a smile and we run of towards the beach laughing
