After that day, I rarely see Daneese in the house. She used to greet me when I get home from work. She would smile and ask me how was my day. She would tell me dinner is ready and tells me to eat first and she'll eat after me. Even with Samantha, she do the same. Why do I feel like I miss her?
"Babe?" I forgot I am with Samantha. We live together in the house. It was her proposal at first because she has nothing to do. She also insisted to sleep in the masters with me because she was afraid of sleeping alone.
"Sorry. I was just thinking about work. You can head first upstairs." Samantha was my girlfriend for almost five years now. We were engaged and supposed to be married. I love her – I loved her.
Right, my love for her was long gone. She cheated on me and like a fool I forgave her like it never happened. And the feelings I have for her right now is not the feelings I had for her years back. It's all gone. But I can't just let her go. I can't.
"Emmy, where's Daneese?" Emmy was one of the maids in this house ever since we got married.
"Forgive me, Master. I don't know where the Mistress." The maid bowed and continued her work.
"Green House. She's in the green house." The family butler said.
"Was that the place she always were?"
"Yes. She said it's peaceful and relaxing here."
I saw here dancing while painting. She has always been a great ballet dancer. Right, I know.
I hated here for accepting the marriage to me. For ruining my future with Samantha. The life I would have with the woman I truly love. But after all the insults and shaming and yelling and mocking and after all those painful words I threw at her she still stayed with me. My feelings changed from hatred to like, and ended as love. I planned to end everything with Samantha and thinking to start a family with her. But it wasn't that easy.
I wanted to test her. I started bringing Samantha thinking it might affects and if it does I'll do whatever it takes to be with her.
I loved Samantha yes, but I loved her more.
When she showed no emotion after bringing Samantha in this house, even after making love with her and making sure she knows we're doing it. Even after I showed her how sweet I am to Samantha, how I chose to eat with Samantha, chose to ate what Samantha cooked. She showed no emotion, instead she welcomed us like it was okay to have her in my life, that it was okay for her to live with me and Samantha.
You see every time I call her cooking trash, I ate those afterwards and that was the best meals I ever had.
Every time I yell at her, I felt burdened.
Every time she flinched when I yell at her, my heart aches.
Every time I insulted her, I feel pain seeing her teary eyed.
She was just too nice.
"Beautiful isn't she?" I was so surprised from the woman who just suddenly spoke.
"Clarisse. What are you doing here?" Clarrise is Daneese's sister-in-law at the same time her bestfriend.
"She called me over. Said she needs my help over something."
"Oh, okay."
We fell quite. Both watching Daneese dancing and painting.
"She was the most graceful, poised and beautiful balled dancer I've known in my life. Did you know? The day you guys got married was the same day her supposed to be first international competition day?"
