He just left like that without even uttering a word.

You sighed following him behind like a lost puppy.

How long is he going to ignore you?

'Perhaps he still doesn't want to see me' you thought while coming downstairs as you stared at the back of jungkook's head as he climbed down the stairs while skipping the stairs and jumped down on the floor.

"Jungkook!How many times did I told you to not jump from the stairs!" Mrs.jeon said glaring at him while he shrugged his shoulders.

"Mom I'm not a kid anymore" he said walking towards the dining table and sat on the chair, flipping his plate.

"You'll never change" mrs.jeon said shaking her head.

"Never!" He said serving lunch for himself while you stood there behind him.

"Oh y/n! Come here I'll serve you lunch" mrs.jeon said as soon as she saw you standing there.

Nodding you looked at the chair beside jungkook which was you're seat before you left to abroad.

It's as if it was reserved for you but maybe things changed now.

So you made your way to sit on the opposite seat to jungkook.
But before you could mr.jeon occupied the seat making you stop on your tracks.

"Hi my dear family members!" He said smiling at everyone as he flipped his plate too. You smiled in return and were about to on the seat next to him but again someone beat you do that making you groan internally.

"It's Nom nom time! hey guys!" It was hyunjin. You sighed and made your way to your own seat while all the three greeted hyunjin.

Jungkook glanced at you then back to his plate,you noticed it.
All throughout the lunch it was only Mr and Mrs.jeon and hyunjin who talked alot jungkook talked a little only whenever they talked to him or which involved him. You just kept nodding with a smile on your face.

Mrs.jeon noticed and asked you if you are ok. You told her that you're fine with a smile.

Suddenly Mr.jeon's phone rang interrupting thier talks.

"Ah ha! No phone while eating" mrs.jeon said earning giggles from their kids.

"I don't think you would say that if you know who's calling" mr.jeon said looking at his wife as he flashed his phone at her and her eyes widen.

"You shouldn't keep someone waiting. You can eat afterwards first answer the call" she said almost squealing to which mr.jeon chuckled while you young people frowned at the sudden change in her behaviour.

"Who is it ma?" You whispered lowly but still audible for everyone. Mrs.jeon gestured you to stay silent.

You did as you stared at mr.Jeon who was talking on the call and at jungkook for a sec and then finally averted your gaze back to your plate.

"Oh ok but isn't it too early....ok then as you say father...thank you" mr.jeon hung up the call with a bright smile.

"It's your grandmother. She went to our town on an important work" mr.jeon said as he dramatically placed his hands on the dinning table and leaned forward as if he was discussing a secret murder plan with his gang.

"Guess what?" He again spoke making all of you look at him.

"What?" Mrs.jeon and hyunjin exclaimed immediately while you and jungkook at stared at eachother for a second before he immediately averted his gaze towards mr.jeon.

"Your wedding date is fixed" mr.jeon looking at you and jungkook while your heart dropped to your stomach. Didn't know the secret murder would be yours. You just sat there lost in your thoughts.

"OMG! When is it?" Mrs.jeon said excited.

"Y/n!! My child you are getting married!" Hyunjin suddenly got up from his chair and made his way to you before smashing your head against his chest.

Dramatically crying while wiping his fake tears as you rolled your eyes while the others chuckled while staring at both of you.

"Get off me Hyun. I'm not going anywhere.." you said gently pushing him.

"So when is the wedding?" mrs.jeon said joining both of her hands with a clap"

"It's next Sunday!" He announced and you swear you're eye balls almost left their sockets.

"That means there's only one week time!" Hyunjin exclaimed sitting back on his chair.

"What!?" You exclaimed too loudly. Making your parents frown.

"I mean—isn't it, like isn't it too early" you stuttered.

"Yeah, it is but the date is fixed by a priest after going through both of your birth dates, horoscopes and everything and he said you would live a long and happy life together if married on that day"

Mr.jeon said smiling at you but you couldn't give the same smile back because the main purpose of you coming here is to cancel the wedding.

"Why aren't you ok with it" mr.jeon said noticing the visible frown on your face.

"No–it's just i needed some time" you said nibbling your fingers as you sighed before covering it up with a small smile.

"It's ok Sweetheart, you still have 1 week time right" mrs.jeon said brushing your hair back with her fingers and you nodded at her with a smile.

"Ma..I think I need a nap, i feel a little tired" you said before standing up from your chair.

"I can see it, Go and take rest. You need it or else how will you look beautiful on your wedding.."she said as you shake your head before heading towards your room without looking back.

But what you didn't notice is that jungkook eyes never left your figure until you disappeared into your room.
