Chapter 9

Katsuki and Izuku enjoy the rest of their trip lounging around and doing this and that.

The couple spend their days attending class and sometimes pay their parents a visit for dinner.

It's been some weeks since school started and Izuku had already made tons of friends. Of course they weren't only from their class and of course Katsuki was sulking in a corner looking all sad.
But Izuku doesn't mind this side of the blonde. In fact, he adores it. It makes his lover look defenseless and vulnerable. Izuku had a bit of a sadistic side to him when it came to Katsuki.

It was another peaceful day in 1-A when a yellow caterpillar entered the room. The noisy classroom turned their attention towards their homeroom teacher as he cleared his throat.
He stepped out of the sleeping bag and went in front of the podium.
"AHEM. Alright students, I have an important announcement to make. This Saturday, you will have a practical exam. UA has decided to incorporate a new training system. You will be tested in different categories like rescue, fighting, medical etc. Don't worry, it's not a ranking test. You'll be given grades for each category and your classes will be arranged accordingly. This is to ensure that your hero skills are well rounded so that you can survive in all conditions. Any questions?"

The room is silent untill a blonde raises his hand.
"Sensei?"
"Yes, Kaminari?"
"Why are we doing this test so suddenly? Are the other classes doing it too?"

Aizawa asked the blonde to put his hand down as he answers his questions.
"This system was suggested by one of UA's sponsors a few days back. Since the entire board unanimously agreed to the proposal, it has been added to your curriculum. And yes, the other classes will also be doing the test. For the general studies students, it is voluntary. If they score a higher grade than the average hero course student, then they can switch to this course if they wish to do so. So prepare to welcome new students next week."

The class then gets into discussions regarding the test as the teacher retreats back into his abode.

Izuku and the blonde can be seen talking at the back of the classroom, away from the rest of the students.
"Kacchan, I didn't know that Dad's proposal would be accepted so soon? He didn't even tell us at dinner last night!"
Izuku says pouting.
Katsuki looks at the adorable human broccoli as he smiles to himself.
"Cmon Izu, I think uncle just wanted to surprise you. Don't you like surprises?"

"I like surprise that involve food and flowers!! Not sudden examinationssss"
"Okay okay, it was uncle's fault. You're right."
"I'm always right. And how long are you gonna call Dad, uncle? He already told you to call him father."

Katsuki brushes his hair back as he smiles awkwardly.
"I'm trying, but it's gonna take some time. It's a little awkward. But anyways,  let's go sit down, my legs are starting to hurt."

Katsuki walks towards his desk as Izuku follows after him, puffing his cheeks. The blonde laughs at him as he takes his seat.
Izuku walks over to him and stands next to his desk.

"Izu? Need smtg? Why aren't you sitting?"
"I wanna sit on Kachhan's lap"

The blonde was takes aback by the blunt remark. The rest of the class also heard it and turned their head towards them. Considering the blonde's attitude, they expected that he would refuse, even if their were dating.
But contrary to their expectations, Katsuki uncrossed his legs and opened his arms wide for the other.

To say the class was shocked was an understatement. They knew the blonde was in deep but not this deep.
They went back to their business as Izuku happily snuggled into his boyfriend's lap.
As the grenette drifted of to sleep, katsuki held him tighter as he jst sat there and admired his lover's face.
(Which was so damn gorgeous btw)
