"Mhm, Oooh karaoke sounds fun! oh- what was the name of those snacks you wanted me to buy again?" you walked in the small convenience store, hearing the melodic *ding~ dong~* when taking a step inside. Holding your cellphone to your ear while your roommate and you made plans for the weekend.
"this, this and (favorite snack), Oh! can you buy more rice cakes too? we ran out" you roommate listed
"yeah ok, Uh— cash please" you shifted the conversation to the teal haired cashier who seemed like he was done with existing, he scanned all of your items and placed them neatly in a few plastic bags while you handed him a few bills while he counted your change
"Thank you!" you grabbed your bags and stepped out of the convenience store continuing your chat with your roommate Collei
"My brother was talking about how he wanted to have us over for dinner sometime so if we don't end up doing karaoke I'll give him a call" Collei added while drying dishes on the other side of the phone
"Oh! if we do dinner then we can host"
"What?! whyyy?" she whined
"Cause then we get to keep all of the left over food stupid"
"Ooooh!! Smart thinking" Collei's eyes sparkled
"I know right— Waaargh! Shit! what the-!" you groaned "Fuck dude I think I tripped on something" you told Collei to wait for a second while you squinted your eyes and turned on the flashlight from your phone to find some sort of card neatly placed in the space between the concrete tiles, with the help of your long nails you managed to dig it out and placed your phone to your ear
"You ok?" your roommate asked
"Yea, just seemed to trip on some sort of student ID... HOLY SHIT COLLEI" you stood there looking at the photo from the ID card, with both of your hands clenching it
"WHAT WHAT???" you heard her voice over the phone
"THIS GUY IS FUCKING GORGEOUS" your e/c eyes scanned the small yet detailed photo of the card owner, you observed his defined cheekbones and nose, his beautifully colored light turquoise eyes and his seemingly soft grey hair, you couldn't help but slightly blush at the photo. Your eyes finally took a break from observing his angelic features and shifted to his personal information

"Hey Colls you know an Alhaitham around campus?" you questioned while s observing the back of the card as well
"hmmm.. I don't think so, but Nilou or Childe might!" She did have a point, you yourself knew a lot of people from campus but that was nothing compared to Nilou and Childe, both of them were super popular due to street performances that Nilou's theater group holds and Childe's modeling gig
"Alhaitham..." you mumbled while still looking at the ID card but soon was pulled out of your daze "What should I do with this anyways?"
"You're right outside the convenience store aren't you?" Collei retorted
"Yea"
"Well give it back inside to the cashier, maybe the guy will come back looking for it, and it'll definitely be easier to find then wherever you found it" your roommate opened a popsicle on the other side of the phone and took a bite
You followed Collei's idea and hung up your phone, placing the ID inside of the pocket of your hoodie with a plastic bag in either hand while you shuffled back to the small store you were in a few minutes ago, luckily it was the same cashier who checked you out (of the store not in a flirty way oml MDMDKSD)
"Hey there! Um- I found this outside the store and just wanted to give it here in case the owner comes looking for it"
you sticked your hand in your pocket and handed the card to the cashier who replied a nonchalant "oh ok"
And so you happily left the store to get back to your dorm to make dinner for you and Collei.
A few minutes after the h/c girl had left the convenience store, the clock finally struck 10 pm which meant the teal haired cashier's shift was over.
As he was gathering his personal belongings he heard the sound of the sensor playing the melodic *ding~ dong~* for what seemed to be the fifteenth hundred time that day, an annoyed groan left his mouth as he shifted his view towards the customer
"I apologize for coming in so late but have you perhaps seen a student ID card somewhere?" the very tall, muscular man looked down at the cashier who honestly just wanted to go home and sleep
"Actually a girl just came in to hand one in, here it is" he handed the man the ID card as he watched the man's face twist in confusion
"This isn't my-" the man looked at the cashier who shrugged his shoulders
"She must've misplaced it then" he nonchalantly replied
"Right... thank you anyways" the grey haired male mumbled awkwardly whilst leaving the store.
