Jimin carried Hobi on his back, their legs moving in a blur as they raced towards the coven. They arrived at Jin's house, panting heavily but exhilarated.
"Dress up, Artemis," Jin commanded, his voice filled with urgency.
"Of course," Jimin replied, hopping off Hobi's back.
Jimin went inside to change, and when he emerged, he looked incredibly handsome. Jin couldn't help but admire his appearance.
"You look good, Minnie," Jin said, a smile spreading across his face.
"You all don't look bad yourselves," Jimin remarked, glancing at the other vampires who had gathered to greet them.
"Let's go," Hoseok replied, eager to explore their new surroundings.
As they ventured deeper into the coven, they noticed that the vampires seemed to regard them with a mixture of curiosity and trepidation. Word had spread about Taehyung and Jimin's arrival, and the coven was abuzz with rumors about the half-bloods.
The leader of the coven, Chanyeol, was a imposing figure with piercing blue eyes and a stern demeanor. His familiar, Kihyun, was a gentle soul with a calming aura.
"Wait, I smell wolves," Chanyeol exclaimed, his senses heightened.
"Grand Count, don't you know Count Sehun gave two half-bloods residential access?" a vampire spoke up.
"What has he lost his mind?" Chanyeol growled.
"Yuna, I sense her," Kihyun murmured, his eyes filled with a mix of hope and sorrow. "Is she here, or is it her child?"
Sehun stepped forward, his face etched with a mixture of pride and apprehension. "Mom, Dad, meet Park Jimin and Kim Taehyung. Both of them are half-bloods."
Taehyung introduced himself, his voice steady despite the nervous flutter in his chest. "Good evening, sir. I am Taehyung, and my father is a beta. My mother was a human."
Kihyun's eyes narrowed. "Was?"
Jimin's voice was cold and emotionless. "Killed with my mom. I know you know that I am your grandson, but no one is forcing you to treat me like one."
Jimin and Taehyung turned to leave, their backs stiff with a mixture of anger and hurt. Sehun tried to stop them, but they were determined to escape the oppressive atmosphere.
"Don't think of him as rude," Sehun said to Kihyun. "He's just cold."
Kihyun watched as Jimin and Taehyung disappeared into the shadows, a pang of regret tugging at his heart. "Did Yuna really die?" he asked Sehun.
"Yup, by wolves," Sehun replied, his voice filled with sadness.
Kihyun felt a surge of longing for the daughter he had lost. He knew he had to reach out to Jimin, to connect with the part of Yuna that lived on in him.
He found Jimin wandering through the quiet streets of the coven, his gaze distant and lost. "Jimin," Kihyun called out.
Jimin turned, his expression guarded. "Hello, sir. Do you need something?"
"Jimin, call me grandpa or just Kihyun," Kihyun said gently.
Jimin hesitated, but then nodded. "How can I help you, Kihyun?"
"How was your life there?" Kihyun asked. "I sent some money to her monthly, but I couldn't meet her."
Jimin chuckled bitterly. "She didn't use a single penny of yours. Here, take your card."
Chanyeol approached Jimin, his expression serious. "Jimin," he began.
"Sir Chanyeol, I'll be staying here for one year and six months, then later both of us will leave," Jimin interrupted.
"But why? I wanted you to stay," Chanyeol insisted.
"No need," Jimin replied, his tone firm.
"I wanted to offer you a chance to go to school," Chanyeol said.
"We would love to, but alas, we don't have money," Jimin admitted.
"I was getting Jin and Hoseok enrolled. Would you and Taehyung-shi like to join?" Chanyeol asked.
Jimin hesitated, his heart torn between his desire for education and his pride. "Thank you, Chanyeol sir. I will repay you when I have my own money."
"No need, Jimin," Chanyeol insisted.
"I don't like pity or sympathy," Jimin said coldly.
"Talk nicely, Jimin," Hoseok chided.
"Fine, I will repay you," Jimin grumbled. "I don't like debts."
"I'm sorry on his behalf," Hoseok apologized to Chanyeol.
"Don't be," Chanyeol replied. "But why are you sorry? And I got informed that you are refusing to be the second in command. But you loved to be in the military."
Hoseok hesitated, his heart heavy. "Sir, I will leave the coven and join my familiar's pack."
Chanyeol's eyes narrowed. "You know that wolves would kill you. And which pack?"
"Peony Trivia, and they won't kill me," Hoseok replied confidently.
"But why?" Chanyeol pressed.
"I'm Jimin's familiar, and the pack is his," Hoseok explained. "I'm sorry, I need to leave."
Hoseok turned and left the coven, his heart filled with a mixture of excitement and trepidation.
Chanyeol watched Hoseok leave, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Sehun, do you know Jimin has his own pack?"
"Yes," Sehun replied, a knowing smile playing on his lips.
Meanwhile, in the sparkling white town of Sparkling White, Namjoon paced back and forth, his mind racing. He had to find a way to be with his mate without endangering him.
"Dad, I got a solution," Namjoon announced, his eyes bright with hope. "There's a pack called Peony Trivia. They have half-bloods, true-bloods, wolves, and vampires living together. Maybe I can live there with my mate."
Hanyeon's heart sank. "Then you're going to leave us?"
"But it's killing me to know I can't be with him," Namjoon replied, his voice filled with pain.
Namjoon ran away from home, his heart heavy with the weight of his decision. He entered the borders of the Peony Trivia pack, his senses alert and his muscles tense. He knew he was taking a huge risk, but he was willing to do anything to be with his mate.
