The Attack

The tension between the two packs was palpable. The Sparkling White Pack stood at the gates of the Peony Trivia's territory, their determination unwavering.

"Leave our Alpha or your pack is annihilated," a voice echoed through the mental link.

The guards of the Sparkling White Pack responded defiantly. "Leave. He is a trespasser, and now he wants to settle here."

A wolf from the Dark Angel pack snarled. "Don't talk to me, you filthy vampire."

The wolf who had disrespected the vampire was promptly killed, his body crumpling to the ground.

"Who are you, and where is my brother?" Jungkook demanded. "We don't want any war."

"Well, I am the Alpha of this pack, Park Jimin," the voice replied.

"Alpha Jimin, please release Alpha Namjoon," Jungkook pleaded.

Han stepped forward, but Jimin cut him off. "Cho Hanyeol, never utter a word in front of me."

Taehyung, recognizing the danger, tried to intervene. "Jimin, you need..."

Jimin turned to reveal his Beta, a powerful wolf with a scent that was both familiar and foreign. "Well, this is my beta," Jimin announced, releasing his own scent, a potent blend of wolf and vampire.

Taehyung's eyes widened. "Jimin, don't start a war," he urged.

Just then, Hoseok, Namjoon, and Jin emerged from the Sparkling White territory. To everyone's surprise, the Beta of the Sparkling White Pack was revealed to be Tae's father, Taho.

"Alpha Hanyeol and Alpha Jungkook, see there is Alpha Namjoon," Taho exclaimed.

Han was about to order his army to retreat when Tae pointed a gun at him. "Do not enter," Tae growled.

Seokjin intervened, pleading for peace. "Please, I don't want bloodshed here."

Namjoon stepped forward. "Dad, meet my mate, Kim Seokjin."

Jin introduced himself. "Hello, Uncle. I am Jin, the First In-Command of the Dark Angels. I'm 18 years old and have been in command for two years."

Jin then left, his mission accomplished.

Taho turned to Namjoon. "He has so much attitude," Taho remarked. "Did you know he talked that rudely with him?"

Jin's voice echoed through the air. "Namjoon wants to join the yearly ceremony of peace and call them in."

Jimin agreed. "Namjoon, don't touch anything or talk to anyone for your safety."

Han and Taho, their hearts heavy, followed Jimin to a place of profound beauty. The grounds were adorned with towering statues of two women and countless smaller images, surrounded by rare, once-in-a-year blooming flowers.

As they gazed upon the pictures, tears welled up in their eyes. These were the women who had shaped their lives, their loves.

Jimin stepped onto a platform, his voice filled with both sorrow and hope. "Let us not mourn over them," he said. "Let us make them proud of us, proud of their sons, daughters, nephews, nieces, parents, uncles, aunts, cousins, siblings... And to honor them, we have prepared lanterns. Let us release them and send them to peace. They will forever be alive in our hearts, even if they leave this material world and become a part of nature... I hope no one suffers from the pain they endured and the loss they caused to all of us... Remember one thing: I will forever be there for you, even if everyone is against you, if you are honest, trustworthy, and have never done anything wrong... As the atmosphere has turned gloomy, let us set the lanterns free and sing; have a bit of fun for their peace. There is an arrangement of lanterns for everyone in abundance. Set them free and liberate yourselves from your pain."
