Fallen Flower: Chapter Four.
Lily had arrived at the concert with her friends.
She was still tense from the fight she had with Calla.
She wanted nothing more than to leave the concert and talk to her, but her friends wouldn't let her leave such a special event.
Relief eventually set in and Lily finally began to enjoy the concert.
They were playing Lily and Calla's favorite song.
If only she was there to listen to it with her.
Lily couldn't wait to tell her that they played their favorite song.
The concert ended after a few hours, it felt like an eternity to Lily.
She had to get home.
She shouldn't have let the fight end like it did, but her friends were waiting for her.
Lily was close to the house when out of the corner of her eye she saw something in the distance.
It looked like a broken doll.
She walked closer to see what it was.
Lily let out a horrible wail, it wasn't a broken doll.
It was Calla, her body was bent into an unnatural position and she was surrounded by a pool of blood.
Lily stumbled to the ground in horror.
She couldn't believe what was happening.
She scrambled to her feet and ran to the house. It always felt like such a long walk to the house, but this time it only felt like a couple of seconds. She struggled to unlock the door, her hands wouldn't stop shaking.
She had to find her phone. She forgot it when she left the house. Her phone was on the dining table next to a note and a crochet flower. Unable to process what was going on, she sat at the table and read the note.
Calla did have something she wanted to tell Lily, but she never told her. She didn't include it in the note, either.
Lily picked up the crochet flower, it was a lily. She began to cry, Calla was going to give it to her that night.
In the note Calla had written, it mentioned that she had something she wanted to say to Lily, but it was no longer important.
Lily neglected to call emergency services, instead, she remained frozen at the table.
She started wailing.
She never got to apologize.
And she would never get to tell Calla that she loved her.
She was now alone.
It had been two weeks since Lily's friends had heard from her.
They were beginning to worry. It wasn't like her to not contact them for this long.
They decided to go to her house, even though Lily had forbidden them from ever going near there. She was a very private person.
They soon reached her house but she wasn't there, only her phone and other belongings.
It was only when they were making their way back that they discovered a terrible stench that led them to Lily's crumbled body. She was next to the corpse of a girl they had never seen before.
There was a crochet flower clutched in Lily's hand tightly.
It looked like they had fallen, yet the flower remained in her hand.
They promptly called emergency services and told them what they saw.
It was revealed that they had indeed fallen but at different times.
