Y/N's POV
When we arrive at the door of my house, I say goodbye to Matsuno-san and go to my bedroom. I lay down into my bed and think about the things that happened. Oh my god! It was so embarrassing when Matsuno-san was so close to me in the train...
"Where were you? You should have been home by now." Oh no... "I-I was at the library...", I tell him which is nothing but the truth. Nonetheless he gets angry and pulls up my ear like a naughty, little child.
"Don't lie to me, young girl! I've seen you how you stood with this fucking delinquent at our door!!" I begin to wimper.
"T-That is the truth... d-dad... I only was tutoring him after school in the library which is why I'm so late. Ask at the library if you don't believe me. Y-You know... I would never lie to y-you." Because I'm too afraid of the aftermath.
"Don't go near this boy! He's a bad influence for you. You're already just a burden either way, constantly causing problems with your behavior!" "I-I'm sorry. P-Please forgive me dad...", at this point I am crying like a little child because of how powerless I felt in this moment. I sniffle.
"I know... I know I'm a terrible daughter. Y'know... I'm trying my best but it's not enough, I know that and I am sorry for that. I'm sorry you had me as your daughter. B-But Matsuno-san is not a bad person nor a bad influence. He's a really sweet person, really. Today he saved me from─"
I wasn't able to finish my sentence when dad slaps me real hard that I taste a bit of blood. "DO I FUCKING LOOK LIKE I FUCKING CARE 'BOUT THIS BASTARD AND WHAT THIS LITTLE BASTARD DID!!! You're not allowed to look him in the eyes or talk to him and THAT'S IT!"
Before he leaves my bedroom, he punches me one last time in the eye as a 'punishment' as he liked to call it. This night I cried myself to sleep. And as always my mom's watching everything from outside the door.
In the morning, I look at myself in the mirror. "Ah!" Ohhh... Yeah I almost forgot what happened last night. After washing my face and brushing my teeth, I go to my bedroom and look out for something I need. "Where is it? Where is it? Where─ Found it."
It's an eye patch. If dad beats me like that I atleast want an eye patch so I can cover my black eye. I look at my phone for the time and notice how late it is. Shoot! I run to the train and was able to get in there just in time.
If I hadn't come so late, dad wouldn't have to be so worried about me... Yeah. It's my fault again. He just punished me and that's a totally normal thing parents do. Yes. Dad... he loves me...
That is why he beats me. It's out of love... Is that really how love looks like? Do people punch and hurt each other if they love each other?
