RAIN

"Hey, Gemini's having a colab mini-concert tonight. Wanna come?" Dion asked while we had our coffee break.

"Nah." I answered as I stared at my phone, checking out the photos Sunny sent me.

It's been three days since I saw Phayu and I can't deny how bored I've been in the past days, with the photos of us at dad's birthday reminding me just how much I want to see him.

"Eh~ but I told Phayu you'll be there. Guess we have to—"

"You told who what?" I immediately asked Dion making him flinch from where he stood.

"Seriously? Why you gotta scare me like that?" He hissed looking annoyed, was I too obvious?

"Phayu said he'll be going since I told him you'll be there. Happy now?" Dion said making me stifle a smile.

"H-happy? Why on earth would I be happy?" I mumbled as I looked away.

"Well, I guess I'll just have to tell him you're busy—"

"No! I mean... I'll go." I said as Dion eyed on me with suspicion.

"Hmm... fishy, something's fishy." Dion mumbled making me slap his arm.

After getting home and changing my clothes, I got a cab to Gemini. With the mini-concert collab with Saturday Studios, it's expected that the place is full-packed. The concert started at eight but I got to the club at nine so the party's already heating up.

"Rain! Here!" I heard Dion call out as I entered and I walked to their spot.

Looking at Dion's companions, I easily noticed a few different faces along with familiar ones.

"Hey, hey, this is my friend Rain. Rain, these are my friends—uhm... that's Rio, Bella, Freeda, and Kuea." Dion introduced as I smiled at them.

Looking around with a glass on my hand, I tried to look for the very reason I came here. I've already had a few shots but he still hasn't arrived, is he even coming?

"Looking for someone?" I heard a familiar voice which made me turn around almost immediately.

"Ph-Phayu, hey." I almost stuttered as he stood so close to me looking as dashing as ever.

"Ey Phayu! I thought you wouldn't make it hahaha~" I heard Dion tease from behind before placing his hand over my shoulder.

"You know... Rain's been looking for you kuekuekue—ack! That hurts!" Dion exclaimed as I pinched his hand hard.

"Really now?" I heard Phayu say and immediately saw a sly grin on his face when I looked at him.

"I-I'm gonna head to the restroom." I reasoned as I quickly left them, hiding my flushed face with my hand.

What's wrong with me? It's not like I missed him so much enough to blush in front of him. I need to get a hold of myself.

Taking a breather at the restroom, I decided to leave when I heard a familiar voice just outside.

"You're Phayu, right? Rain's boyfriend?" I heard Tristan say as I felt alarmed, he's definitely talking to Phayu.

I waited for an answer, hoping that I Phayu wouldn't out me. Well, it's not like I'm doubting Phayu's sincerity. I can see how he cared for me and I know he wouldn't do anything that'll shame me. However, it's Tristan that I'm worried about. He's a sly man that'll do everything just to prove he's better than me.
