(N) sat with his group of friends at their usual place during lunch,expecting for his friends to be loud as well but no,they seemed to be whispering to each other and when you finally arrived at the spot,they couldn't help but stares at him.

"What?" (N) asked, genuinely confused on the sudden quiet aura.

"What do you mean what??" Hu Tao narrowed her eyes,as if he did something wrong without him knowing.

"(N.n),You were absent for 4 days and Ajax told me you were texting  scaramouche like a girl who's obsessed with her crush!And not to mention you arrived during lunch!" Hu Tao spoke with worries.

'I was absent for 4 days..?' (n) was shocked when Hu Tao said that — He swore it's been only 1 day.Did discord really change his life that much?

"..Sorry,I thought it had been only 1 day." (N) spoke honestly.

"Seriously?" Xiao shook his head while the others just look at you with a deadpanned look.

"Whatever,just sit with us." Xiao dismissed the topic and pat a spot next to him to let (n) sit.

The lunch went normal as usual — which make (n) felt relieved but he couldn't help but feel annoyed whenever any of them asked about his relationship with scaramouche.

Seriously,(n) doesn't really know about scaramouche that much — he just talk to him because scaramouche seemed to be somehow, attached to him.

After dealing with those unusually annoying questions,the bell finally rung.(n)'s group left except for him and Xiao.

"Xiao,are you coming?" (N) raised his eyebrow,wondering why Xiao just stared into space,probably unaware that lunch time is over.

"Oh-sorry,I was thinking about something."He huffed while rubbing his forehead.(n) doubted it was something small but he shrugged it off."If you say so." (N) replied as he began to walk to his classroom but was stopped by Xiao.

"Can you meet me at the cafè tomorrow?" He asked while still holding (n)'s wrist.

(N) nodded his head and give him a soft smile."of course." (N)'s simple response made Xiao's face somehow heat up which he immediately tried to make it unnoticeable by turning his head the other way.

"..right,be sure to arrive at 3pm."  he said as he slowly let go of (n)'s wrist

Oh,how much (n) sometimes hate sitting next to his friends.Sure,he loves their company but sometimes — it's just too much for him to handle them.They just won't stop whispering about their online friends lately.

He got invested with their online friends at first but soon got bored with it.He wanted to talk about his friends too,especially scaramouche but he's afraid they might feel bored with him soon.

"Hey,(n),you seems down,is everything alright?" Ajax asked.He seemed to be concerned about him.

"Nothing,I'm alright." (N) replied back.But of course,Ajax will always doubt it.

"Are you thinking about scara~?" He teased with his stupid smirk.

This immediately made (n) raise his eyebrow."what?no!" He spoke back,shooting Ajax a glare.Ajax chuckled at his sudden reaction.

"Sure,sure.." Ajax smiled to himself.

"If you do somehow like scara,I can help you." He said as he gave (n) a wink.(n) looked at him as he roll his eyes."yeah,no.."

After hours of sitting on the same place and only leaving if there's any science class(or if anyone want to to go the toilet),the students are finally free to go home an relax.Of course,with some few homeworks.

As usual,(n) and Xiao will be walking home together and of course...it is somehow awkward.(n) hated it since day by day,(n) couldn't make a topic to talk about with Xiao.

"(N),you're awfully quiet today.Are you not going to talk about something?" Xiao asked as he took a glace to the male next to him.

"Um,well ...I want to talk about scaramouche..you know,since all of you guys kept talking about your—"

"You know what? forget about it." Xiao scoffed — (n) felt even more upset about it.He should've expected he would respond like that.He could've pick another topic but, why would he choose to talk about scaramouche?

"We're here,go now and stay safe." Xiao urged (n) to go inside his home as (n) nodded his head,feeling disappointed that his walk with Xiao felt short.

He shouldn't be that sad since he's going to meet him tomorrow anyway.(n) hoped that nothing wrong will happen during the time (n) hangs out with Xiao.

Of course,he doesn't want to ruin their friendship.
