Rose's POV
Chase dropped his phone. Rose grabbed it picking it up.
"What's wrong?" Rose asks.
"This wasn't an accident. Someone was trying to kill me." Chase says.
"I knew it! I fucking knew it!" Ryan says.
"Oh my god Ry do you think Veronica did this?" Chase asks.
"Yes I do. She was behind you. And then she goes and disappears." Ryan says.
"Who is Veronica?" Rose asks.
"Chase's on again, off again girlfriend. She's a sneaky evil bitch and I don't like her." Ryan says.
"Well I hope she's not coming here?" Rose asks.
"No she don't know this place exists." Chase says.
Bill had taken the phone and was talking to the police. They had a plan to try and catch her.
"I hope you get a restraining order. And end it officially with her." Rose says.
"I already ended it right before we went out." Chase says.
"That's motive." Ryan says.
They talked a little more. Finally Ryan went home to his house. Bill and Cindy left to go to the hotel they were staying out. Rose took the dogs out and got them settled after coming back in. Finally she heads to Chase's room.
"Do you need anything before I make my bed on the fouton over there." Rose asks.
"Nope." Chase says.
She has already giving him his medicine and put ice on his leg.
"Thanks Rose. Get some sleep." Chase says.
"You too." Rose says.
Rose went into the bathroom and changed into her Pajamas. She fixed her bed and then climbed in. Chase was sleeping. Rose was glad. She got comfortable and fell asleep pretty quickly.
A little bit later she was woken up hearing a weird noise coming from Chase's bed.
"Chase are you okay?" Rose asks.
