Rose's POV:
A little bit later Rose and Chase woke up. They went out to explore Athens. Since they would be there tomorrow as well until their flight to Santorini they would split the day.
"We should order room service tonight and call Mom. We didn't talk to them last night." Rose says.
"I agree that sounds like a plan." Chase replies as they head out.
"Can we grab breakfast along the way?" Rose asks.
"Sure baby." Chase says.
They stop at one of the local cafes and grab a breakfast sandwich. Rose got a mint tea and Chase got coffee. They then walk to the visitors center which was close to their hotel. They meet with a local guide. They were going to take a Segway tour around some of Athens' top city sights as their guide recounts their history. They put on the provided helmet, get a safety briefing and orientation session to familiarize themselves with the Segway. When they were ready, they start to steer through the picturesque streets below the Acropolis and let the guide lead them into the heart of the old city.
First they cruise to Hadrian's Arch where they pause for photos of them at this ancient Roman gateway while the guide shares fascinating facts about its construction by the Emperor Hadrian in 131 AD.
