Already? Another Darkan attack right after...no those were the fireys, were they not? Zottobo! Despite my high intellect and top-notch strategies, this was starting to get quite frustrating. But this one seemed quite distinct. I was unable to recognize this particular...being, perhaps due to the fact that they did not seem to be made out of the standard shadow-like matter. And yet, that emblem looked so familiar. The hood and the face coverage of magenta and maroons made it all the more confusing. So similar to the Darkans, and yet so different. And as usual, the hot-head of our team raises his Celesti-bracer and points it at whatever that hideous thing was, and declares threats that even the Darkans themselves laugh at, even after them losing every combat.

"Alright you Darkan! You keep coming back for more, so we'll give it to ya!"

I sigh, although following his action and pointing my bracer at the foe.

"Who are you? And what do have to do with the attack on my Kingdom?" I took a step forward dauntlessly.

Of course, that ridiculous and expected laugh maniacally erupted from the cloaked fool. Clearly, he seems to act a lot like the Darkan, so incredibly cliché. He crashed his staff onto the ground and closed the portal behind him.

"Iceys. Cold as they've ever been. As expected from an Ice Prince." He taunted. Well, he attempted to. "Rhys is my name, if you'd remembered after your Kingdom's disgraceful downfall."

I scoffed in disbelief. He still thought he was a hotshot.

"Um...Ikor? Who's the big ugly over there?" Eron asked as he slowly started to slowly walk behind me, still pointing his bracer at Rhys. "Friend of yours?"

"I don't think making taunts about destroying a kingdom being 'disgraceful' to the one who suffered it is a friend thing to do." Trek stated, although it should have been obvious to the Windy.

"That still doesn't answer our question! Who the howling are you supposed to be? And what's up with the symbol on your chest plate? It looks like a Fire tribe symbol or something, none of which I know!" Riff slowly started to lose his Firey temper already, and not a moment too soon.

"Ice Herald, do you remember that little fiasco a few years back?" I received yet another jeer for which I was in no mood for.

"Which one? Fireys have always been at our throats since the day we met." Oh dear. That was quite insensitive, towards Riff I mean. Thankfully, he was smart enough to make out what I actually intended to say. He must have made that out from my fretful facial expression after uttering those words.

"No problem, man. It's this...this little puppet lookin' thing that's just not working for me." Hearing but not responding to his statement, I await the supposedly villain's response.

"An important asset and a member of a certain royal family was lost. And I wonder who were the ones too weak to protect her...And I wonder who it was who banished me to the Wastelands!"

Zott. Who was he...?

"I mean the Queen! For the smartest amongst the heralds, you were still foolish enough to fall for this. Luring you away from the palace, away from your guards, your father. All under my supreme plan."

Has father been lying to me all this time?

"Correction, what are you?" I hissed, already prepared to call out a Gormiti just to crush this Rhys' pride into pieces.

"Ikor, something tells me he's not exactly a Darkan, but neither just any ordinary Firey." Ao-ki intervened. Although she did make sense. He was much larger, and while his emblem and overall stature and undertone resembled a Firey, he was much too engulfed in darkness to be one.
