Theo met Hana while organizing their common friend's surprise birthday party. For some reason, he finds Hana interesting. Can Theo manage to strike a proper conversation with Hana before the party, and the night, ends?
I just finished changing my clothes. I wore a white, loose long sleeves tucked in a black, asymmetrical mini skirt, and nagsuot din ako ng black stockings. I also grabbed the silver, glittery sling bag Sue gave me as a gift last year.

I went downstairs and everyone's having fun already. The DJ started playing Good Time by Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen.
The bar counter is open too. Bartenders are serving the drinks already.

I can't find Sue so I texted her asking where she is. I'm looking everywhere when I heard her voice dahil hindi pa naman ganoong kalakas ang music.
"Hana! I'm here!" Nandoon siya sa isang table. I walked towards her.
My eyes roamed on the people in the table. These are familiar faces-- Toby, the one they're shipping with Sue. The other guy was the one I bumped into earlier. The other guy I don't know. Then Theo.
I feel shy to smile at them coz they might not know me, so I landed my gaze on Sue.
"Malapit na ba si Pipes?" I asked excitedly.
"Yep! Didn't you check our group chat? On the way na kanina pa!"
I fished my phone out of my bag and I saw Piper's messages:

Omg Piper's coming!
"Parating na nga! Shouldn't we all go closer to the entrance to welcome her?" I asked Sue.
"Oh right! Let me get Mitch so she can announce it to everyone. You go ahead na!" Sue said then went to Mitch.
Nice, Sue just left me here. Nakakahiya namang hindi yayain itong guys dito sa table eh lahat naman kami pupunta to welcome Piper.
I turned to them and my gaze landed on a pair of eyes already looking at me.
Theo.
"U-uh, let's go welcome Pip---" I was saying to him and his friends but someone cut me off and grabbed me away from there.
"Let's go, teh! Piper's here na!" It was Sab, our friend from senior high school.
Omg! Piper's here! My excitement just doubled. Nakaabang na kaming lahat sa main entrance and we can see her outside from the full-length transparent glass windows.
Sue saw me and gestured me to come to her. I went giddily. We both can't contain our excitement!
"On three, guys! 3,2,1..." I hear Mitch say on the mic.
