-Time skip to three months later-

I've been happier these past three months than I ever have been. Every moment me and Dice spend together feels like heaven. I'm completely living with him now, and I haven't heard or seen my other family for months. We like dancing and singing together in his room at the late hours of the night. Chip has a boyfriend now, which isn't a surprise to me. His boyfriend is a little arrogant, but I mostly shrug it off and try to be there for Chip. Now, we were just sitting around, thinking about the future.

"It would be wonderful to have our own house. Just on the edge of the city, y'know?" I say, my feet patting on the marble floor with every beat of the drum.

Dice turned down the radio.

"Baby, you know we can't leave,"

"But Cups does, every day,"

"Cups gets a little empathy from the boss. Him and his brother are different. Me and you aren't."

"How can we make him let us leave?"

"I don't know. I can talk to him."

"I just want to settle with you. More than just this apartment."

"What do you mean by that?"

"I don't know, like I guess just a more domestic environment for us,"

"Century, I hope we aren't getting on the topic of kids again. You know how I feel about that,"

"I'm not, It's just us. Our house,"

"That's better, I'm sorry"

"It's ok, darling. Can I-"

"Yes, yes, a glass of whiskey. Are you sure you don't want to try anything else?"

"Nope, whiskey's just fine with me,"

 "That's my girl,"

He came and twirled me around. We both laughed and giggled, until I sat on the floor. Life was perfect.

The door slammed open. A woman smoking a cigarette stepped inside.

"You're still doing this?" a disembodied woman's voice sassed.

"This isn't your room anymore, leave. It's been three months, what do you not understand?" Dice sighed, putting his hand on his face.

"I don't understand how you could still be fooling around with someone like her. You know I'm everything you could ever need,"

It was Agulara.

"She's my girlfriend. She's my everything. What do you want?"

"I want you back. Since you obviously still love me."

"What makes you think that?"

"Because you're already starting to loose interest in her. If you really loved her, she would be on stage with you by now. You just love to show off."

"She isn't comfortable with that yet. I don't need to show her off to show her I love her. You're hard to please."

She whipped out a gun. And it was pointed straight at my head.

"Why don't you tell your bitch about all the things you've said to me? How I was the most beautiful goddess on this earth and no one will amount to me?"

Dice has said that to me before.

"How, just the other week you told me you would leave her behind so we could go on tour. Together."

"Agulara!" he yelled.

"Yeah! You fucking liar! Now before she dies she's gonna remember all the things you lied to her about, " she looked at me, "Sorry I have to kill you, you might've had a pretty good farm someday, yeah?"

Stomping feet came down the hall. Chips pushed her down. The bullet fired.

I heard something shatter. Devastatingly loud. Like a bomb. Just complete and absolute shock. As if I wasn't already on the ground, my head slammed into floor. It all went black.

"Fuck, Century please! Wake up! Goddammit! Are you happy? This is what happens when I trust you with someone I love! I just lost my mother and now her? I can't believe you call yourself my friend," I could hear Chip yelling.

"Chip?" I mumbled, still not being able to see.

His voice was also muffled with a loud ringing in my ears. The light started to creep back into my eyes.

"Oh good heavens, you aren't dead. That asshole-" he said, and I felt his hands grab my arms.

"Chip, what happened?" I mutter, trying to regain consciousness.

Total silence. No one in the room moved. The ringing sound was still there.

"Chip, what happened?" I ask in a more stern tone.

I try to pull myself, but fall back down. A stinging pain falls throughout my body. My head was throbbing with a headache. I knew something was devastatingly wrong. I don't even know why Chip was here in my room with me. Chip started sobbing and hid his face in his hands.

"Where's Dice? I- I want him. I'm- I'm scared. I don't understand what I did," I whimper, still trying to sit up.

"I'm right here baby, I'm right here. You feelin' ok?" he urgently whispers.

"Uh- not really. My head hurts, a lot," I mutter.

"Dice, haven't you done enough?" Chip snapped.

I push myself up, and look around. I could only see in one eye, and it was wavering. Chip was sitting in front of me. His eyes were bloodshot. I fell back down on the pillow. I felt something wet on the back of my head. The back of my head felt caked in something.

"Shit, the bandage broke. Dice, get some more," Chip demanded.

I pull my weak hand up. My fingers were blood red. It clashed against my pure-white skin.

I fainted.
