A/N: The story will be from Riya's POV in first person (throughout the book)

Hello, my name is Riya, and from the outside it probably looks like I have the most glamorous life. I come from a rich family, I go to a prominent private college in New York, and I live in a mansion called 'Plutus Heights' with my group of friends. Sounds pretty epic right? I mean who wouldn't want to live with a bunch of rich kids?

Well just wait! So many unexpected things were about to happen to me - including my current dreamy boyfriend! And it all started the day I moved in to Plutus Heights. Before I dive into all the crazy stuff that happened to me, let me tell you a bit more about myself.

My parents run a super successful restaurant chain - from fast food joints to fine dining - they cover it all. Because of this, I've always been interested in the food industry, so that's why I chose to study economics and food industry management.

However, there was just one small problem: I was still living at home with my parents, and I have a five-year-old little brother so it was pretty distracting. All my friends were living in their own fancy, loft apartments and I wanted that independent life too. Well lucky for me it was just around the corner.

One day my dad invited a business friend he'd met earlier that year over for dinner - he was big in the tech world and my dad loved these kinds of networking dinners. This guy brought his family and that's when I met Aliya.

She was the same age as me and we had so much in common - in fact she even studied at the same college as me. The best part was that when my dad mentioned that he was looking for a place for me to start living independently, Aliya suddenly said, "Riya oh my god you should totally move into the mansion I live in."

This was exactly what I wanted! I was so scared my parents would say no, but actually they were totally on board. I think they realized it was time I had my own space.

Finally the day came to move into Plutus Heights. I couldn't believe it when we pulled up outside the mansion. It looked like a palace. Honestly it was like something out of a European fairy tale - there were pillars and even two white lions by the front door. It was crazy.

I seriously expected a butler to appear. Aliya was waiting by the door for me and gave me the grand tour. I think my jaw almost hit the marble floor. Who would have thought that this mansion was for students to live!? The entire interior of this mansion was very luxurious and splendid, but the more she showed me, the more I started to feel uncomfortable. These fancy things just didn't fit me - I wasn't into showing off at all - but it seemed like this palace was built for that reason. Nevertheless, I couldn't do anything because I was already there. So I guess I just have to get used to it.

As Aliya showed me around, she told me about the other students who lived there. Arjun, Ranjan and Sameer were the three guys who owned the place - well their parents owned it - but technically it was theirs. Now they were all best friends and Arjun's girlfriend Nisha also lived there but Nisha had been uncomfortable with being the only girl, so she'd asked Aliya to move in too.

Aliya's family weren't exactly over the moon about her living with three boys and a couple, so they felt much better now knowing that I was going to be living there too. Weirdly enough, my parents were fine about the fact I'd be living with three boys and after a few days living here I realized that it was totally fine too, because I barely had any contact with the others.

It was only after a few months when they threw a welcome party for a newbie called Shiva that I really got to know them. Shiva was Sameer's cousin, and had just enrolled at our college - majoring in business management.

Aliya told me that Shiva was quite an extravagant person and came from a seriously rich family, so he thought the first must-do thing was throwing a welcome party for him. I almost laughed. He must be very famous or really desired to be famous. But to be honest I have always hated flashy parties.
