As Ivy explained to Head Knight Ren the events that had happened, the male would nod. He felt slightly annoyed that she had left it so long to tell him about the meeting. After all, he was the one that was supposed to be watching over her as well as being her best friend. But he knew too well to keep that hidden away.

"So why didn't you say?" He asked, a slight frustration creeping into his voice.

"I couldn't find the right moment to mention it..." She replied. "And besides, you were busy with creating different factions for the knights, you have enough on your plate to worry about other stuff."

"Well yeah..." Head Knight Ren sighed, rubbing his helmeted forehead. "But you know I'd like to hear about everything that's happening around Metalloic, especially when it has to do with you, Priestess!"

She smiled lightly, glancing up at him with a light blush.

"Sorry..." She apologised. "For some reason, I just couldn't bring myself to tell you... It was like it wasn't real to me. He just ground my gears so badly! I don't understand why he's so against us unifying with the rest of the world. What's wrong with it?"

Head Knight Ren simply shrugged, knowing he wouldn't be able to explain Bronze Age's motives to her. He knew he was an unstable and power-hungry man, but he also understood that it was the way of his people.

"Perhaps he doesn't want to share the glory of Metalloic..." The male commented. "Maybe he wants to make sure his people are the only ones to benefit from the opportunities we offer them."

Ivy nodded, understanding.

"That makes sense, I guess. But what happens now?"

"You should just focus on tomorrow's party, Ivy." Head Knight Ren advised her. "It should be fun, and seeing how everyone will come together should help ease tensions between the deities and their followers. Besides, it'll be nice to see your friend again, if they're still coming?"

Ivy looked down, feeling a little guilty that she hadn't thought about that part. She had been preoccupied with finding out a way to cease any tension with The Bronze Age and his people. Now that she thought about it, she had forgotten to set up for the arrival of a special guest.

"Oh God..." She groaned. "I forgot to contact Mr and Mrs Weevil!"

Head Knight Ren chuckled, shaking his head.

"Don't worry Ivy, you can leave it to me."

With a nod to his leader and best friend, the head knight of The Metallo Tribe scurried out of the throne room, leaving Ivy alone. She let out a small sigh, sitting down on the throne. Head Knight Ren was right: she needed to focus on the party. After all, it was only tomorrow!

As Ren left the confinement of The Metallo Palace, he made his way through the bustling streets of the town. He hummed happily to himself, his mind focused on getting ready for the upcoming event. He held his hand on his sheath as the people around him smiled and waved. Ren tried not to get distracted, instead focusing his attention on the task he had been given.

He himself was excited about the party. Of course, he was nervous, but he always did his best to cover up how he truly felt. He was worried that something would go wrong though. The last few parties that had been put together were pretty much disasters, but hopefully this time things would be better.

As he continued his way through the majestic streets of The Metallo Quarter, Ren passed under a bridge before heading towards a field. He was on his way to the Weevil Mill to speak to the elderly couple who owned it. They were known as the best bakers within the tribe itself and were the perfect people to bake the cake for the celebration.
